I downloaded it and was going to use it until I realized that it doesn't allow Manycam. I totally forget that ladies here said that we wouldn't be able to split using it. I'm not currently splitting but I do use Manycam for watermark purposes. So I won't be using the SMbroadcaster, I will be sticking with the encoder until it affects my placement. I am glad that they finally created a broadcaster. I'm just kind of disappointed in how they created it. I don't like the fact that we have to download it and have it on our computer(I feel like these companies....Google, Microsoft, etc are becoming way too invasive). I'm not sure if its possible to be able to produce true HD using a browser but I wish that they did it that way. I like the broadcaster we used before the encoder came about.
ETA: You may want to add "What does everyone think of the SMBROADCAST BETA ENCODer?" to your title so that people know what this thread is about.

I would like it if it could work with my webcam. Right now, the new broadcaster does not work with my webcam due to an h.24 limitation and my video is mirrored and there is nothing I can do about it. My webcam still works with the encoder and I am grateful for that. So basically, if I wanted to use the broadcaster, I will have to buy a different webcam.
I'm sticking with the encoder for now as well until I'm forced to buy a new webcam in order to use the broadcaster.
I started using it Tuesday and besides the crystal clear PERFECT HD, I like it. It's a bit of a wow moment. Like, I have blonde leg hair and meh, I'm lazy about it. But now it looks like I'll be setting up some waxing appointments, sheesh.

I had HUGE trouble with the FMLE and everyday it was a cointoss whether I'd be able to connect and stay on or it would be one of those days I'd spend half my day logging in and out and installing anduninstalling stuff. It was a major source of frustration and a huge loss of time... and additionally I was never able to use the new HD settings, Adobe would just crash at higher resolutions. The SM broadcaster has been a one-click solution for me, it calibrated in 'Good' image with the HD resolution and a higher bitrate than I was ever able to use with the encoder, and I'm just crossing my fingers it will stay that way. I kept feeling it could not be good for either my laptop or my camera (not to mention my attitude) to be plugging/unplugging/restarting/cleaning registry all the time.
it hasn't even been a week so I haven't uninstalled the old encoder yet, but I'm being hopeful I will be able to say good bye to FMLE forever soon.personally give the new broadcaster a good ole thumbsup.

Worked great for me at first but then they changed something and now I cannot use it at all. It pixelates and makes my feed freeze badly.
I've gone back to the FMLE encoder with the newer HD settings and it's working fine. I wish I could use the SM one because it's so easy and quick, but can't afford the hit to my earnings when it makes my feed all pixelated.

Cross posted from the SM Thread (because I didn't realize this thread was for the SMBroadcaster):
Does anyone know how the SMbroadcaster compares to the FMLE in terms of cpu usage? I just remembered that I have a brand new c920 stashed away for emergencies (the last time my cam died, it was at a very inopportune moment, so I like having a spare), so that negates the issue of not being able to splitcam. But if it negatively affects my cpu, I will stick with the FMLE and my beloved VerySoft.

It took multple attempts to calibrate wiht different webcams to get it working smooth.
* Then when I select Dazzle DVC100 I get green lines on the video. I didn't go live with it yet. I use a video capture to connect my camcorder into my computer which transforms it into a webcam (been doing that for a decade) outdated tech but it works.
Yes I know its time to upgrade my equipment but I also need to see the long term for having a camming career if scaling up and investing is really worth it.
Closed it walked away from it
Second Attempt
Annoying it does not recognize any split cam software and with websites lacking in traffic and keep hiring models.
Working multiple sites is becoming the "new/not so new" standard even though sites wants us to work "exclusive" to them. Alot of sites are suspending or even shutting down model accounts because they find out your working multiple sites. (honestly the only way they can find that out for real is if they get screen capture photo or video of you doing it)
Conclusion
If I am going to use this . having best quality and working two or more sites at once. I will need to buy multiple cameras and even now to the point of getting multiple computers.
