    Default audition advice ?

Hi there ladies! I apologize if this is a frequent topic, but I'm planning to go into Haks sports bar in DE, Wilmington for an audition within the next two weeks. I'm terrified of being dancing up on stage in front of people. thankfully, its a pastie bar and I don't have to get naked. But yeah, I've spoken to the staff via Facebook, and they told me I will have to go on stage and dance for ONE song. They told me I can choose a song and I was thinking a slow sexy song like Body Party by Ciara, or Earned it by the Weekend. What do you think? Also, is it a good time to start dancing, because Christmas is coming up, so do people come to clubs around this time or is it slow? I'm a hostess in Center City Phila, I used to cam model, but I stopped a couple months ago. and I'm planning on spending my last paycheck before xmas to get the things I need to audition (shoes, two outfits, and some new thongs, makeup and transportation to the club).
I'm taking a big risk spending my christmas check on this, do you think it'll be worth it?

Don't waste money on shoes, outfits, thongs, or make up. Use what you have at your disposal and spend money once you've (a) been hired and (b) decided you want to stick with dancing. Your first purchase at that point should be proper shoes, but for just one shift, you'll be fine in your comfiest heels. There's no sense in spending all of your pay check on something you may decide you don't actually want to do once it comes down to it.

A slow song is good because it will remind you to move slowly -- many newbies dance very quickly on stage until they get used to it.

As for whether this will be "worth it" or not, I mean, Christmas is busy season in many cities, so financially there is definitely potential. Many new girls do well, but some take a little while to hit their stride and others find they hate it, so you just never know until you try. That's why you really shouldn't sink much money into it before you've even step foot in the club.

    Good luck!

I would just use what you have / not buy new stuff. See if a friend can give you a lift one way ( if discretion is important, get dropped around the corner or something).

Hak's is a shithole. Why don't you come to some of the other clubs?

Is it a shithole? What's so bad about it? I know a girl who dances there, and she says there's good money to be made. Why don't you like it?

Thanks ladies. I'm going to take your advice and not spend money.I just have to motivate myself to actually go in and audition. I don't think there's any way to get around being nervous

There is no way around being nervous! I would take Tempest's advice and look at other clubs in addition to that one. I am not sure where Hak's is but from what I can remeber of Philly a lot of the clubs were in a small little area by each other. Why don't you try auditioning at two clubs in one night?

Because I'd rather deal with half the bullshit and twice the money in PA clubs. Delaware clubs make you wear pasties. Fuck that.

LOL pasties I do have these awesome alien pasties I would wear. Do you have any suggestions for a PA club that would hire a thin black girl, I'm tall (5'10 140lbs) I have average size breasts, and a nice butt. I'm not super skinny but I'm not fat either. Any suggestions?

You may as well try Double Visions amateur night Dec 17. We have hired a lot of black girls but you never know until you try. 'Reekside's amateur night is the first Wed of the month as well. There's also Just Enuff in King of Prussia, but they have a black girl quota BIG TIME. My buddy is doing well at Cloud 9 in Harleysville too.
If you want to try city clubs I recommend Daydreamers. Cleanest, best club in the city. But it is all nude.
