Default help a lil newb out!

I have never worked as a stripper, but I do pro-domme work and am very comfortable performing onstage.
I am going to audition soon and I've done plenty of research and thinking/preparing, and have many friends who have worked at clubs.
I know the best thing to do is just to get on the stage and start working, but it doesn't hurt to post!
Here's what I'm still wondering about:

I am still deciding between a few names:
Velvet (this is my pro-domme name)
    Pepper

    Dancing:
I absolutely love dancing. I often get compliments and comments on the way I dance. But it's pretty uninhibited and can be goofy. I am wondering how I need to change my dancing style for stripping. I definitely can dance sexy but I know some laughable moments will pop in at least at first. Should I play them up or try to smooth over them? I have been practicing moving more slowly and sensually. Do you think I can let my personality show through in my dancing, or just try to be "sexy" at first?

    Transportation:
I don't have a car. One of the reasons I want to start stripping is so I can buy a car.
What is the best way to get to/from work? A cab or uber?

    Persona:
I'm trying to figure out what my persona can be. I love creating personas, I'm just thinking about what will work for stripping!
    I look young. I'm 24 and people always guess I'm a teenager.
I am also definitely a weirdo.
Thinking maybe I can be some sort of "manic pixie dream girl" or "artsy" type. But does that work in clubs?! I just don't know.

Feel free to comment on any of these topics! Any advice/response much appreciated. I've gotten so much from all your advice and wisdom on this forum <3

Babe although I don't have crazy experience I can tell you I like Velvet better than pepper and i
can totally relate to being a goof ball as for
dancing I would say dance like you would dance for your man make it sensual and sexy like your trying to
seduce him I would rather get rides from friends or
family than take a taxi or uber I just feel
like it's safer you never know who
    those people are
anyways and when your on stage by all means go slow when I started I felt like I would be good on time when in reality I was going kind of fast so take a deep breath and take your time! Good luck

I'm a huge fan of "real" names, so I vote for neither Velvet nor Pepper. You'll be fielding "but what's your real name?" questions even more so than the average dancer who goes by a regular name like Vanessa or Sarah. If you're really committed to one of those two names, Velvet is better than Pepper IMO, but do you really want to tie your stripping persona with your pro-domme one?

Slow and sensual dancing is the best. I'm not sure what you mean by letting your personality shine through though -- like, it's good to smile and not look bored, so if that's what you mean, yeah, go for it. If you mean that you want to do some whacky dance moves, well, read the audience/customer because it can go either way.

Uber and cabs are great until you get your own wheels. Many cities also have drivers who pretty much exclusively drive around dancers at better rates than cabs, so you may find that's the case and get a recommendation from someone at your club.

Don't plan your persona yet. Start dancing first. Get to know the clientele and the club. Besides, the more of a chameleon you can be with your persona, the better off you'll be. There are totally customers out there who are into "manic pixie dream girls," but there are also many who aren't. Keep your look mainstream and tailor your personality and interactions to each customer. If you're trying to hustle a guy who is really into sports, you talking about art likely won't help build rapport.

After more thought, I DON'T want to tie my stripping persona to my pro-domme one. I like V-names so maybe I'll just be Vanessa or Veronica or something.

And definitely--seems better to be a chameleon. I'm just not very mainstream to begin with so that part is hard. But I'll try my best.

    Thank you!!

Pepper was the name of one of the members of the freak show troupe on AHS. -_-
If you want to deal with "What's your real name?" by all means go ahead.

^ Hahaha ewwww, definitely not choosing that then.
I don't want to deal with that question. I was under the impression that many dancer names were not "real-sounding" names, so that wouldn't be an issue. But I deal with that question enough in my every day life (I have an unusual name). I'll choose some basic sounding girl name.

Contenders: Veronica, Vivi, Vanessa, Lydia, Angie, Amber, Scarlet, Chanel (lol)... still thinking. I got a week or so to decide.

    Thx again for your input!

^Keep in mind that the name you settle on may already be taken at whatever club you go to, so don't get too married to any particular name. It's good to have a list with a few frontrunners. And while there are definitely dancers that don't use real sounding stage names, they do field the "what's your real name" question a heck of a lot more -- the proportion of real vs. fake stage names really varies by club though.

Chanel is grossly overplayed. Vivi sounds like some reject off the Real Housewives of OC whose botox got fucked up.
    The rest are great names.

    This ^^

I've never danced with a Chanel who wasn't ironically a completely tacky mess.
