Default Dancing during your period - better or worse for you?

I don't dance during my period, but I thought of it after hearing that some girls make more during that time? Really?

do you dance during your period and is it usually better/worse money wise for you? Or is there no difference?

From what I've read women make more during ovulation. I never noticed any difference in earnings either way.

Yup, there was a study on this at some point.

However I wonder how many of us actually ovulate? I've been on bc for the entire time I've danced so obviously no hormones making a difference from week to week.
But periods super short and light so nbd working through them.

I hate dancing on mine. I am exhausted, decreased pain tolerance, cramps, etc. Twice now I have had to bail on work the day before my period because I am emotionally volatile and feel like punching someone. I try to schedule a few days before and during to have off, when possible.

It was a pain for me because my flow can get quite heavy and I'm paranoid about leaks but I never noticed a difference money wise

I don't notice any consistent pattern. I'm not on any kind of birth control, hormonal or otherwise, and haven't been in 7+ years.

I always felt like I made more during, but I think it has more to do with not caring/not wanting to be bothered. I hate dancing on my period.. For some reason, not caring about how much $ I would make attracted customers and VIPs.

As I have uterine fibroids, I don't dance during the first two days of my period, unless my regular is coming in. If that does happen, I wear black and will buy myself off stage rotation.

I tend to make more money from ovulation until the Red Army invades. My boobs swell a lot, look awesome and guys like that

I've also heard about the better money during ovulation study. I never noticed any difference during that part of my cycle, maybe birth control makes a difference???

I do however make more during my period the majority of the time. It's SUPER heavy so I hate doing it but my love of money overrides that. I tend to be a little short tempered during that time so maybe that makes me a little more aggressive hustling.

Yes, because on bc you don't ovulate. No eggs, no babbies.

After many years I've noticed that when on my period or being hungover, not shaved my legs, not showered for days, having a bad day or just really don't want to work makes everybody want to spend money on me. They can smell pain and misery and they feed of off it! Beautiful industry for sure...

I hate it. I usually have thick skin but the week before I start, a customer getting a little rude can reduce me to tears.

I don't make more money on my period. If anything, if it's the beginning of my period, I make less because I'm just NOT in the mood. Like others mentioned, studies have found it is actually the opposite; women make more during ovulation. I personally haven't paid much attention to my earnings during ovulation. I will say that I almost always take the day off on the first day of my period.

What one has to ask is what is the science behind the ovulation study? I have to wonder if there is borderline insinuation that we have a primal urge to reproduce which in turn leads men to lust for ovulating women more which in turn results in better tips. However, I cannot say I fully subscribe to the idea the the human genome is geared in such a way, and there are many occurrences -- far more occurrences when connection is purely void of reproductive intention. I think it varies greatly by types of men and not exactly so easy to deconstruct. For me, before my period I make amazing money. Don't know why. I'm brutal to be around.

I hate dancing on my period. I feel disgustingly bloated, and that doesn't make me feel sexy = $0 money for me.
