Question Best Under eye dark circle Concealer?

I have fair skin, and really bad dark under eye circles. They're hereditary.
Every store I go to recommends a different product, but I dont want to try their testers, so i end up buying it, and it never works.
You tube just talks about products, but never applies them.
Im on camera a lot, and live where it's sunny everyday. (So my circles show up even more).
Im at my wits end with this.
Any products that You can recommend?
    Thanx in advance.

Try to add minerals in your diet, and morning walking would improve.
I used colagen patches but they are pricy.
Now i use maybeline concealerit http://www.maybelline.com/Products/f...treatment.aspx and elf High Definition Undereye Setting Powder. So basicly you have to go on youtube and watch videos how to bake your concealer.
I apply concealer after with tapping motions apply setting powder.
I have very dark eye cycles and an under eye bag. I have kidney problems, creams would not help. But walking outside helps a lil.
I tried creams, from 15$ to 100$ they dont really work on me.

^^^ I've tried both of those already. Unfortunately both didn't work.
I like the idea of the setting powder. I just bought a loose powder from elf that I'll try tomorrow when I put my face on. Thank you

You have to correctly place the light, so it will light your face from front. If your only light is from window may be not so flattering.

A vitamin K cream helps some people with dark circles. For concealer, I've found that getting the right color is the trick. I use a slightly darker concealer with peachier tones to it for under my eyes, then a more neutral and pale concealer for anything else. I've also found that patting the peachier concealer along my dark circles, then patting the other concealer in a triangle under my eyes (like this http://cos.h-cdn.co/assets/14/43/1280x1123/triangle.jpg) helps a lot.

I have the same problem as you glamourmilf. Ive been using the IT cosmetics under eye concealer and it actually does a good job at staying on, unlike many concealers I've tried in the past.

Same! I'm naturally very fair and my undereye circles are pretty intense. I second whirlerz's suggestion for highlighter at the inner eye corner. I use Becca opal highlighter powder. As for cover-up, right now I'm using Smashbox BB cream for eyes in light, although I did get a sample once of Chanel perfection lumière velvet foundation and it covered my dark circles 100%. I just didn't want to buy it to keep using it, because it's like $50!

That's the latest brand Ulta salesperson suggested when i was in there on Monday! But I again, didn't want to use the tester.
Today I tried the technique mentioned here , and it looks better. I didn't get enough sleep last night, so it was a perf day to try it.
The one from Smashbox sounds good too.
    Thank You ladies.

I really love Tarte's CC undereye cream concealer. It really hides everything, goes on super smooth and lasts forever. A cheaper one that is also good is Maybellines Instant Age Rewind concealer

I feel all of you on the dark circles. The Struggle is REAL!

Use a color corrector concealer underneath your normal concealer. If you need to brighten up your eyes, then look for a "brightening color corrector" as opposed to just a color corrector. If you don't have a color corrector, use the tiniest amount of red lipstick instead and then take a makeup applicator and blend it out. It will still look pink until you put on your concealer, but then it should blend out well. It makes a world of difference, especially on cam.

Personally, drug store/department store concealers don't do shit for me. I've tried them all and they all crease, cake, and don't have enough coverage. I just ordered Yves Saint Laurent Touche ÉCLAT - Radiant Touch. It's expensive, but I have been hearing rave reviews over it so decided to try it and see if it makes a difference. Once I get it in the mail I'll let you all know how it works.

^^^That's great! Im going to try the red lipstick idea.
I tried the loreal touche eclat many years ago. It was pretty good, from what i remember. Hope u like it too.
These days, not only do i live in a hot climate, but im under the cam lights. So, it seems like everything i put on my skin, particularly my eyes, tends to melt. If that makes sense.

Girl yes, I live in Florida so I get the hot climate and bright lights Yay! I'm glad you liked the éclat when you used it, I can't wait to try it out. Let me know how the red lipstick trick worked for you! Remember.. a little goes a long way. Some girls will put a ring around their entire eye.. but there's really no need. just at touch in the dark spots and then it's way more blend-able.

For the dark circles, I've been using Murad Renewing Eye Cream. I haven't purchased a full size yet, got it as a sample from Sephora but the reviews are all RAVING about it reducing fine lines and also about diminishing dark circles drastically. It's another pricey one ($80) but so far I have noticed in the past week of using the sample that my eyes seem much more rested looking and definitely brighter.

For the makeup melt off.. have you tried any face setting sprays?? I SWEAR by Urban Decay all nighter make up setting spray. It ranges from about $15-$30 (depending on the size you get) from Ulta. I've tried so many different ones, and there are some other decent ones out there... but this is the only setting spray that I use that keeps my makeup in place and FLAWLESS all night on cam or when I'm out in the humidity. It's seriously a game changer and if you haven't tried it.. I recommend!

I use Porefessional primer before putting on my foundation and that can help a lot as well with keeping it in place and making it look fresh.

Oh wow! So you totes 'get it', cause u live in Florida.
All great suggestions, which I'm going to try.
Regarding the red lipstick trick. I dabbed tiny bit on today, and then pat my concealer on. Hmm. Not sure if I used the right shade, but i think i just need more practice.

the new thing is to put salmon colored/orange concealer mostly in the inner corners BEFORE your actual concealer. you can use any kind. laura mercier has one, but drug store works too. i like the nars creamy concealer.

    this works for me.

baking does not work for me, i have no clue what i am doing wrong.. it looks incredibly dry and makes my wrinkles 10x worse

I didnt believe this til I tried it, I saw it on Youtube. The red lipstick trick. Basically you take red lipstick and pat it around your eyes, then put your concealer on over it and blend. I'm sure the video is easy to find. It worked well for me.

What kind of powder were you using for baking?? and do you use a primer before starting with your make up routine?

YES. I LOVE Murad products! Only products that I have seen that have made a difference and do what they say they're going to do.

Dior concealer works best for me. There are two I like: One of their "Hyra-moisture"BB line (light blue container) and the other from their "Snow" line in a white container which was marketed to Asian women. I'm not Asian, but that one is quite dreamy. It goes on very smooth and I've only have to retouch once during a shift. It's very light in texture but covers well. The Hydra one is a bit richer in texture, but still smooth, it does a nice job as well. Both are pricey (the Hydra one is $38 and the Snow one is around $50). I've had the Snow one for nearly a year. They both have wand applicators.

I also recommend this concealer, it's a miracle. I've always struggled with under eye circles. The full size is $24 but I got a smaller size at ulta for $10 and a little goes a LONG way. It's waterproof so that's why it lasts so long and has great full coverage

I'm super pasty and look sickly in the winter cuz of my dark circles. I've found using the pink in the bottom left corner under my eyes then going over that with a powder that matches the rest of my skin totally covers it
