Default How do you get over the fear of law enforcement?

How do you get over the fear of law enforcement when escorting? I've been meeting clients for awhile, and I still get really worried that a "client" will turn out to be law enforcement. I screen well, but its really easy for an established client or hobbiest to work with law enforcement.

I started as a prodomme in a dungeon (and privates) for years, and then transitioned into escorting. I never worried about law enforcement in all the years I was a prodomme because law enforcement usually leaves prodommes alone.

I thought the feeling would have gone away by now but it hasn't. I end up drinking before I see a client. Its not that I can't handle the sessions, its that the anxiety of meeting a new one freaks me out because I want to avoid arrest. I have never been arrested for this kind of thing, but I would like to keep my record as clean as possible for current and future employment issues.

Do any other escorts have this fear? How do you cope with it?

Screen, screen, screen. Easy on the alcohol, it can lead to so many negatives.

We're on the same boat Hun. I have this fear , I really don't need a arrest record for what I'm trying to do in the future. I'm so paranoid it's ridiculous. I live in a major city. My location is by a highway & hospital so they're cop everywhere. Whenever I hear a siren I think they're coming for me lol. Seriously I'm just really paranoid. I think I'll die if I ever got arrested.

Save your money and maybe consult with experts who know the law in your field. So you can make sure to avoid it problems before they occur. Hopefully things continue to go well without any issues but if something does happen and you have money, you can hire someone to help keep your record as clean as possible.

Keep your screening on point but try not to stress too much cause that can end up bringing to you the very thing you don't want.

Also make your money and get out. if you want to keep your record clean for other opportunities then start pursuing those opportunities sooner rather than later.

I know girls that have been providers for years and even they tell me you never get over that fear of LE. Maybe keeping a criminal lawyer on retainer & networking with people from your local SWOP if you have one in your area might help assuage your fears a bit? I'm planning on getting a lawyer so as soon as I save up, until then I'm going to have some phone numbers memorized.

This thread makes me feel so much better! I thought I was being irrational or something was wrong with me for still having this fear. I'm so glad everyone else feels the same way. I never really hear or see girls talking about this fear so I thought I was in the minority.

Yeah, I still get nervous meeting someone new too. I don't think that initial fear ever goes away. As everyone else has already mentioned, screen well, cancel or refuse to see if they even give you the slightest bad vibe or are being uncooperative in giving information, getting too graphic with pre-meeting dirty talk, or have way-too-old references. Be on at least email-friendly terms with the girls in your area who are in your same range so you know you can trust a reference.

I guess I ultimately try not to worry too much because I know someone who got busted once, and it doesn't seem to have really affected her. She had to go UTR for awhile and change her professional name but it's not as though she ended up in prison or incapable of working again. I believe she even has a vanilla freelance writing and/or computer coding business (I'm not entirely sure what she does exactly, but something along those lines). I guess it would depend on your future hopes for employment how worried you'd have to be. I never really intend to work for anyone else but myself again, so seeing her be successful doing that assuages my fears a lot.

I was a booker for an escort service for almost a year. Of the 400 women we dealt with, only one was ever busted. It was at a hotel in Nashville. I recommend only doing Outcalls and only to homes.

I think a girl would be a damn fool to get rid of the fear of LE. Fear is what keeps us on our toes. Once we're over being scared, we get comfortable. And comfortable bitches start to slip eventually.

Along with what's already been said here already, I usually give clients a playful butt grab when I hug them for the first time. Gauge there reaction. Does he grab you back? If they tense up, it could mean they're a cop. I read that somewhere... in Arden Moon's book, I believe.

These sites are free and excellent for screening.

    Just in case:

Leave your laptop/drugs/money in your car or off the property for obvious reasons.

Save enough bail money to leave with a trusted friend.

    One other thing:

Stop drinking. Nothing good ever comes out of drinking from stress. It will only get worse, hon!
