Hey, so at the new club I've been working at--which I do like so far and have been doing OK at for my area, we have the VIP dance room, and then we have the lap dance area which is pretty public and just off the main floor. Anyway, I've noticed that whenever I or any of my co workers are doing dances, the manager will see and hover over the area (or even right next to the particular booth that we are dancing in!) and grab the payment from us after we are done?!
Now, I completely understand that girls don't want to be "taxed" by the club on their LD earnings so sometimes sneak by the managers back and don't tally their own dances correctly to keep more of the money, but this seems a little extreme? It's putting my customers off having him in their immediate eyeline while getting a dance from me and feeling like they are being watched...also, when they have seen him take the money from me 9 times out of 10 they act concerned or ask if I even get the money or why I just gave it to him. And they're less likely to buy another dance or even a VIP because of this...
I'm not sure if I should just leave it be, if there's something you think I should say to customers (I just say it's so we don't have to hold onto our money all night, or that management does take a cut which is why tips are always appreciated!), or if I should speak to the manager personally. I don't want to be rude or tell him how to run the club but it's eating into profits for both of us which seems odd.
