    Default questions about day shift

Hey so I'm new. Tomorow is my first day and I wanna start with day shift. My club opens at 12 I was going to go in at 2. I was just wondering if you work day shift how much do u usually make throughout the week? Or day. I figure it'll help me get better since not so many people will be there. I wanna make atleast 200 a night. Is that unreasonable? Also I'm in atlanta.

$200 on a dayshift is doable. What time does the shift end? Depends on the club. Personally I have been having an appreciation for dayshift.

Usually there aren't as many customers, true, but the caveat is that there usually aren't that many girls either. Also the lack of customers makes up in quality, basically what I mean is the guys with jobs come in and they usually can stay until a certain time.

One day I did a double shift on a Monday and saw that I actually made more on dayshift than the night shift. It was busier and plus people tend to not stay out too late on the weekdays, so as the night progressed you may as well have been seeing tumbleweeds because it was dead compared to day.

It hugely depends on the club, the day, and the dancer.

A club that's downtown or surrounded by office buildings is far more likely to have a lucrative day shift than a club that's in the suburbs or an industrial area.

Friday will likely be busier than Monday, though some clubs do promotions earlier in the week to get more people in the door, so you never know.

Many clubs open during the day will have lunch buffets or some sort of specials, so it can be wise to go right for opening when that crowd will be in -- sometimes those promotions only bring in cheapskates and it's good to come in later though. Personally, I'd go in right for noon for a few shifts and mentally keep track if it's worthwhile to come in that early. You may find that you make most of the money 12-2pm, then nothing, then something 4-6pm, in which case it'd be a shame to miss out by not coming in until 2pm. Or, you may find out the crowd tends to be useless before 2pm, in which case you can stick with that going forward.

Beyond that, day shifts in many clubs tend to be more regulars-centric, especially earlier in the week, so dancers with lots of regulars will do better than those who are depending on random foot traffic.

Earnings vary so much on top off all that by the dancer's hustle, so you won't know if $200 is reasonable for you until you start. Give it a few shifts before you draw any conclusions though -- often, new girls will either make good money right off the bat because they're a fresh face and then stagnate until they learn how to hustle, or they will start out mediocre and slowly get better as they learn. Either way, your earnings in the first few shifts aren't super indicative of the earning potential in the club.

    Good luck!

Day shift is all about developing business with regulars. You'll probably do well right away, as the day shift rarely gets new faces, so the guys will be curious about the "new girl." However, it all depends on the location of the club. In my area, the downtown clubs don't get any business during the day, but in the suburbs we stay pretty busy. I work at a club that is close to the wealthy parts of town, and most of our day shift customers are retired professional men in their 60's and older. We also get a sizable number of service professionals who work for the wealthy residents nearby (handymen, landscapers, medical professionals etc.).

There is another club that is in the suburbs, but in a more blue-collar neighborhood that has a decent day shift as well, but the clientele leans more on the working class end. There are a lot of retired, working class people who frequent that club, but they also see a lot of sales people and those involved in recreational cannabis businesses nearby. I do better with the white collar guys for some reason, so I keep going back to the club in the wealthy neighborhood, but there is money to be made at either club.

I prefer day shift. Less girls so I'm on stage more often (and less drama) and the quality of customers is better. MUCH better tippers. At night if I get a $25 dance with typical friday night guy I'm lucky to even get a tip after the dance. Day shift I get $40 tip on a $25 dance.

I agree with the post above. Try to come in at 12 instead of 2. At my club we get a rush from 12-2 because guys are on their lunch break. From 2-4, it's basically completely dead. Then from 4-7 it picks back up because customers are off of work and stop by before going home.
