I don't think clients on BP are willing to be screened...just ask them their bg or short description is fine but for more personal information they barely tell you.

If they wont do the screening then you are advertising in the wrong place & obviously these are not the kind of customers you want.

I find that thorough screening is one thing that will protect you from psychos and LE (not foulproof, however!); however, not all ladies have the option to get two to three provider references and P411 OKs. When I was doing survival sw on Backpage, I would ask for their legal full name and real phone number. Be firm in telling them that you will not save their information, and that their information is only for screening purposes. Also say something about screening in your ad -- that seems to weed out some guys that don't want to go through screening. If your callers are nice guys, they'll give you their real information. Run their number through spokeo or the truecaller app to confirm that they're actually who they say they are. Also, get a Verifyhim membership (I think it's free up to a certain number of searches?) and check.
I also find that intuition and street smarts help somewhat. If someone sounds 'off,' do not go see him. I would find that LE is sometimes too eager to see you -- they don't ask if it's actually you in the picture, etc. If he wants to discuss explicit services right away, don't see him. Also contact the local SWOP chapter to see if they can give you any tips more specific to your area. Good luck!
I have been posting on backpage for awhile now...I screen all of my calls when possible, but never had anyone agree to be screened, and I know that about 95% or more would never want to do it, because they are too paranoid about being found out. I understand why, even though it makes our job a little more difficult. I know it sounds funny, but I kinda like playing detective and finding out about who my potential clients are. I know, I'm a weird nerd. Anyways...
The best advice that I can offer to you is to use what you have available: their phone number, their address(I do outcalls only, so I always have an address), and the Internet! Sometimes, I have them send me a picture of one or more pieces of mail with their address on it, and tell them that they can cover their name with something. But if it takes them more than 2 or 3 minutes to send it, I don't accept it Bc I have had people try to send me something that they just made up or even one guy went to his neighbors and grabbed some of their mail(I learned the hard way with that one, haha. It's so crazy that I can laugh about it now). Also, you can use your smart phone to find out more about them if you add them to your contacts(hint, hint). Technology is great these days. Oh, and always trust your gut, and never believe anything that seems too good to be true!
And if you're concern is mostly LE, then be very careful when you go to hotels and apartments. Screen extra well, and don't go if they are rushing you to get there as fast as you can, or if they won't give you their room number or apt #. Try to arrive early and walk around the hotel, and don't let them know when you have arrived or what you are driving until you are convinced that it is safe.
All of these things(the things that I feel okay about posting on a public forum, at least) are how I have made it so far in my 3 years posting on backpage, with no major problems.

Do NOT compromise screening. Not all clients are worth seeing.
Very helpful!
I google their name, phone number, and email address. I also search Facebook using their name, phone number, and email address. If neither of them turns up anything I'm not seeing him.

If you're on BP, dont expect a client willing to screen. That's why its BP
