Default Photographs contain personal information like location

    Hi Everyone,
I send out a lot of photos to customers for free. Personal birthday cards, Christmas cards etc for goodwill and promotion. I also charge for photo sets. I am sure most people know that every photo contains personal information including GPS location. If you send selfies or other photographs it is always a good idea to clean your photographs before sending. With selfies you can change the settings in your phone to not include that data. (metadata) If you do not care or are high profile I would not worry about it but if you have another life besides camming and are trying to stay under the radar so to speak it is always a good idea to remove the data.
Here are a couple of links that explain metadata and how to remove that data before sending out photos.

"In fact, remember antivirus software pioneer John McAfee, who was wanted by authorities in Belize after his neighbor was found dead? Well he was arrested after a photo with metadata disclosed his location."

    Hope this helps. Merry Christmas!

I upload them to Imgur.com, then send them out that way.

Make sure you disable geotagging in your camera app. I know it can be done on both Android and iOS. That's all it's really needed to do

After someone post this thread link >> https://www.ambercutie.com/forums/th...internet.5764/ << on here I started saving my images through Photoshop (it has an option to include or exclude meta data) and then I'll upload it to something like geoimgr.com just to make sure my location doesn't come up.

What about antivirus software? I noticed that the peoples locations show up at the bottom of the emails. How do you prevent your location from showing up when you send emails to customers?
