    Default new settings - encoder

I am sorry if this has been discussed a million times.. but. I downloaded the NEW SM encoder and when it starts to calibrate my cam.. it shuts off around 50% saying there is a error. I've tried a million time and same things. I msged support but it takes ages to get a reply. Any ideas?

It took me a little under 10 tries before the encoder worked for me. It kept stopping at around 50% as well. What I did will sound funny but it worked for me.

First, make sure you close your browser and every other programs then while it was calibrating I waved my arms around like a lunatic. In my silly mind I thought it might help the camera to keep focusing on the movement and the broadcaster to keep calibrating. It's silly but it worked for me..ended the calibration with "best" quality.

Give it a try and just smile and wave lol

Oh and make sure you have enough light!
