Default Just Moved to Calgary Where Should I Work?

If any one has worked in Calgary recently, where is the money at, what can I expect here?(I'm used to Ottawa) I've heard contact is less here? If anyone wants to give me every last detail I would feel more comfortable choosing a place and starting out here. Also are work outfits the same? Bra and tiny stripper thong or are there different rules?

Calgary is agency run, so you basically have two options- you either work with your agent as a stage dancer, and they will book you at different clubs (you still sell private dances). There is also freelancing, which is when you show up at a club, pay the freelance fee, and sell dances. You will still need to talk with the agency if you plan to go that route. There isn't a lot of consistent money in freelancing, so most girls just use it as a stepping stone to buy some costumes and get doing shows. Although Calgary stage pay is garbage- if you don't have the shows and gear to fight for more money it's like half of what they pay in Edmonton.
This is the phone for the Calgary office of Independent, they'll answer any questions you may have regarding working at the clubs: (403) 299-9640

As for contact, Calgary is air dances only, and it's heavily enforced. If you so much as accidentally brush a guy with your hair, it's a potential fine. You will likely be stacking singles and doubles for eternity- it's rare for someone to buy a ton of time which is good because since you can't sit on them, it's exhausting.

Work outfits would be similar, although some girls prefer to cover up a bit more because of dances being no contact. It's nice to have a third piece to take off or whatever.

Girls either love or hate Calgary, there is no in between. I personally don't work there because it requires a license, and I'm not paying for another license to get paid and tipped less, so I can't comment on specific clubs.
