    Default Angus Scrimm 1926-2016

I am SO sad to hear of his passing. You guys all know I'm obsessed with hearses.. Well Phantasm is not only a wonderful cult horror film with the terrifying Tall Man but it's also one of the few hearse friendly films out there. My whole hearse club used to get together at my friend's mortuary and do movie night, and we would often watch one of these films. Angus was very old and did get a chance to meet his fans one last time at MonsterPalooza this year, as well as appear in the yet-to-be-released Phantasm 5: Ravager which we hope will come out later this year. In real life he was actually a very sweet man.

    Rest in Peace, Tall Man!

Oh wow. I've never seen that movie, going to have to watch it sometime. I haven't heard of him before but seems he was a very unique actor.

I remember as a kid my mom putting this movie on the tv for me to watch while she did some things around the house. I watched this as like a 10 year old scared out of my mind. Found out later she saw it in the TV guide and thought it was Fantasia the Disney movie.
