    Default Shaving

Now, I was a stripper a decade ago when I was quite young and I didn't mind shaving but now I'm more of a hippie In your experience, have strippers done well when they only trimmed to make themselves look neat down there, rather than totally shaving everything?

When I first started out, I shaved completely!
    No trail! No strip!
In the end I made more money when only trimming . the funny part is it was a bikini club! How did they know?! Kind of like periods I guess its a subconscious attraction
Personally at a nude club I think these days its too obvious to see a shaved hoohah its like "I'm a stripper so I have to shave"
Ladies don't forget were selling a fantasy ! Not all women are the same!
    Dance shaved dance semi-bushed (Lol)
Dance in every way shape and form you can!
    They luahhhhv it!!! $$$

Whatever you do, be confident about it! If you go the 'just trimmed' route, expect lots of attention for it (curiosity, questions, comments). Can you think of any pornos that feature hair on women's bodies? Many men haven't been exposed to hair in sexualized environments like SCs. I'd guess that most of them associate hair with home (long-term relationships). That's just my perspective based on my experience.

Hair down there has always felt very personal to me - I've always shaved everything off (until I got laser). Pre-laser, I wasn't comfortable 'wearing hair' at work...it felt like too much of my real self was coming into the club.

I usually wax it mostly off.

Although sometimes I've been super busy and needed to work but didn't have time to wax and had to work with stubble. In these cases I just never bust it wide open on stage lol! And no one really noticed. The older guys don't mind hairy vaginas but most guys in the club are expecting bald down there.

When I started at the bikini club I just trimmed it, but as I reduced the attire I wore on stage, I reduced the hair down there; eventually I was fully shaven at full nude clubs.

I think you gotta look at it from a % stand point. Sure there will be guys that just love a little bit of hair or a lot. But are they the majority? Because the majority is what's going to pay the bills. So I think it just depends on what might do well. Personally I shave it all cause most of the guys who come in are closer to 25-30 than older and most in my experience want a bald kitty.

I can't figure out how to reply without doing the quotes thang... thanks everyone! I think I will try out just trimming a lot for now, and see how it goes. Can't justify making big changes unless I know for a fact it's going to make a big difference!

Yep! In my experience, the more you look like a dolled up, perfect 10 stripper goddess, the better you'll do. Of course, there's always going to be that girl who's an exception, but when you get down to it, strippers are supposed to be a fantasy. Body hair isn't fantastic.

Though it can certainly be a fetish. Unfortunately, fetish guys are 1 in 100.

I find I get the most compliments/comments on being fully shaven on the weekends because the customers are younger, many in their 20's.

Though not always true, older dancers do seem to attract older customers, and I could see them being more open to it if that's the clientele you attract/your club has.

In my experience doing parties younger guys def love it shaved. Older guys seem to not see it as a big deal.

I find a thin landing strip is the most widely appreciated..it's bare enough to be socially acceptable. It still caters a bit to the older gentleman. However it's a bigger pain than just shaving it bare and I totally agree with Charlie about feeling more naked with pubes for some reason

I've been using water in a large pot or bowl and shaving with warm water/coconut oil, all I have to do afterwards is wipe and my legs are smooth like a babies bottom!

I think its not hygienic to "not" shave down there... We sweat when dancing and in my personal experience most strippers are bald or have a tiny landing strip or a shaped on top but def shaved mostly all around.

For dancers who can't afford the cost of laser upfront, or for anyone who struggles with razor burn, or for anyone who doesn't want to get rid of their hair permanently but wishes shaving for work were easier...remember that you can buy individual sessions of laser hair removal. Even one or two sessions will result in noticeably thinner and more sparse hairs.

I paid for six sessions for $1400 (like five years ago), and it's seriously one of the best purchases I've ever made. I used to get crazy razor burn and ingrown hairs no matter what I did. Now, I get constant compliments on how perfect things look down there, and I don't have to stick to the shadows or cover any imperfections with makeup. It's so nice to not have to think about it anymore. I have minor regrowth that I quickly shave in the shower (fine hairs). If it started to bother me, I could buy another session, but it's nowhere near that point yet.

Charlie, you are brave! I got laser hair removal on my upper lip and my arm pits. My underarms hurt like hell and I would be really scared to do my bikini area!

There's nothing quite like looking down at the laser and realizing that the next zap will be a millimeter away from your clit.

I'd describe the pain of laser hair removal like how it would feel if a hot needle were driven in and out of your skin. You numb the area with ice beforehand, which helps. And the pain only lasts for an instant each time. So it would make me jump and occasionally curse. I did the full area. It was intense. Each session lasted an hour from the time I walked in to when I left. Yeah, it sucked, but it has saved me hundreds of hours of frustration and discomfort, plus made me plenty of money in the club! No pain, no gain. For real!
