Default Website Adult friendly - Help?

    Hi Everyone!

I am in the very early stages of setting up a website with my gf. We are going to sell some of our adult items such as: panties, videos and lots of other stuff
We will market at our many clients but i'm wondering if anyone knows where to go for an adult website template and what payment systems are industry friendly? Paypal seems to get shut down frequently. We would like the payment system to work worldwide

    Thanks in advance ladies !!!!
    xoxo

What constitutes an "adult website template" in your opinion?

WordPress works good for just about any kind of website you would want to make. If you don't have hosting yet, I highly recommend DreamHost (use coupon code CAM50 for $50 off your first year) because they are adult friendly, come with a free domain with each new account, and offer free private domain registration. They also have one-click installs of WordPress and other stuff you might want to install.

As far as payment processing, stay away from PayPal! CCbill is great for adult payment processing but like any adult (categorized as "high risk") processing, it comes with some hefty startup and yearly fees. There really isn't any getting around the high fees for adult processing. If you're going to be using WordPress for your website, I recommend woocommerce for your store. They have a plugin for CCbill, which makes things easier. You'll also need to buy a SSL certificate for your site if you'll be processing payments on it.

There's also tons of information for adult webmasters on gfy.com

    Good luck!

    Hey Dream Chaser,

We started processing payments for adult sites in 1998 so very much industry friendly! We have a great technical installation team who will assist on setting up your paywall so it is a seamless experience for your customers. We are certainly worldwide and have around 50,000 merchants around the globe using our services. You are right about Paypal, they don't allow adult content.

Tsani has some great advice there, there are annual fees required by associations like Visa and MasterCard for High Risk Merchant accounts (which this would fall under). We are fortunately based in Amsterdam and Visa Europe doesn't require these annual fees so we can further lower your costs there.

Hit me up and I can explain everything super easily and crunch the numbers for you. I'll also show you some examples of girls that already use our services so you can see the system in action for yourself!

I checked the pricing on the Verotel website http://www.verotel.com/en/price-and-...son-chart.html and the annual fees look to be about the same as with other payment processors for high risk merchants. I did see an option for no annual fees if you have a certain minimum sales volume per week. I can see this being a good option for people who know they will be making the minimum weekly sales volume, but I think it's a little misleading to say that you are able to avoid the annual fees because of your location. Unless you're charging those fees despite not being required to, and saying that you "can further lower your costs" only applies if they meet the minimum sales volume requirements.

Thanks Tsani and Nick for the info. I am going to do some more research between Zombaio, CCBILL Vs Verotel and see which is the right fit for us

    Appreciate the feedback

With Zombaio I think you can avoid the up front fees but many webmasters have warned against them on the adult industry forums gfy.com and even here. If you do a search for Zombaio here and on gfy you'll see what I mean.

    Hey guys,

I was in Spain last week for the amazing European Summit, really really great event! But terrible Spanish Hotel WIFI, it was an ongoing battle. Thanks for your email Dream Chaser and I replied yesterday, not sure if you have had a chance to read through it. You have my mobile number from this email, so you can reach me anytime and anywhere now. You had a few questions about the different packages and I think to make sure it is all clear you should drop me a line on skype chat and we can discuss it, but in short, yes we totally waive your annual fees if you average 100 per week.

We have an amazing technical engineer team who will also take care of the installation process and integrating the payment page on your site, and this is all included in the service. We will also handle all billing support etc for you.

Hit me up and we can have you processing payments very quickly,

    Hi Tsani,

Thanks for your reply! I made the earlier post today to Dream Chaser but hadn't seen your comment so addressing it now! You will find the annual fees for the vast majority of payment processors are just the fees that MasterCard and Visa require for high risk accounts. So I can't say for sure as I have never signed up with Epoch and CCbill, but i believe their annual fees are over 1000 dollars for the combined MC and Visa annual fees. Being based in Europe we are only required by MC for these fees so it changes it from 1000+ in annual fees to 500 in annual fees. The last post I had seen from CCbill is that 750 of their annual fees was for Visa, so I believe their annual fees are then MC 500 + Visa 750. Again, I have never used their services so can not say for sure. Would be more than happy to be corrected!

So you would have seen on our pricing page that it is 500 annually for the Verotel Basic and no annual fees at all for the Verotel Premium (Requires processing history). The Basic is just the 500 MC requires for this high risk account. If you then average just 100 per week over that year we will eat up the following years annual fees and pay the MC fees for you. Significantly lower annual fees and the potential to have them taken care of completely! Sorry if this is confusing! Please feel free to hit me up any way that is easiest for you and I would be happy to answer any questions!

We have a very open door policy as well, please any of you feel free to drop into Amsterdam HQ and visit!

There is Model Centro, CCBilling, elevated X to build sites.

Check your local, state & federal laws on selling panties, cause in the U.S. it is a Federal offense to mail hazardous materials. It is a fine of up to $1000 & 1 yr in jail per offense. They will let you do it for years & then bust you.

There is the option of sites like clips4sale, extralunchmoney, mypornprofile, hotmovies and such to start before doing an actual site & make money.

I can also vouch for Model Centro - their customer support is AMAZING and with all the tools they provide, you can get everything done all in one place. You have the option to set up tips, and you can sell clips that way, or through a monthly website membership. Many models also sell panties and things through the tip option.

plus the templates are super nice, although there are only 4 available settings.

This isn't my site, but it's one of the pro examples they give in their blog. Little Red Bunny (who was I think last year's cam girl of the year?) uses model centro too.

I haven't launched my site yet (I only started online work in January) - but so far it is a super awesome platform.
