Default Brow / lash growth serum?

Anyone had any tried and tested experiences with lash and/or brow growth serums.

I'm holding out and refusing to use strip lashes because it looks great for the night but then sets me back 1000 steps irl when it pulls the lashes out!

any suggestions from experience and or seen results on friends appreciated!

You'll want to get latisse. But you may need a script, at least last time I checked..rapid lash used to have th same active ingredient and was cheaper but latisse sued them so now they only have fancy sounding oils and peptides in their product, not the active ingredient that they used to have :/

There's 2 mags devoted to skin care, anti aging, & plastic surgery, A New You, & New Beauty. I was just reading ANY in my salon today, they were talking about lash & eyebrow growth prods, I don't remember the names, I think you could buy them outright, but check out one or both of those mags.
They maybe listed/advertised in other beauty mags too.

I was going to get Latisse, but I read a horror story on Real Self about rare side effects with it. That, the inconvenient packaging, the cost, and the need for a prescription turned me off. I ended up ordering Revitalash on Amazon and like it a lot. It doesn't darken your lashes, but it has made mine grow longer, and it has encouraged new lash growth. I'm not super consistent with it (use it most nights, but stopped for several weeks because of Lasik), and the results from it do fade after you discontinue, but not in an immediate/drastic way. I'd recommend it, and I also recommend a lash primer before mascara. The combination has really helped my lashes grow much longer, to the point that people often compliment me on them. If I wear Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara on top of my growth, girls often ask if I'm wearing subtle falsies.

Grande lash eyelash serum is good and works well. You have to use it every night though for a few weeks to get the full result.

I gave away my free latisse kit I recieved as a gift from a ps. I have green eyes and so there's a risk of getting dark specks on your eyes from using Latisse if you have other than brown eyes. I've heard that Rogaine works to grow eyebrows.

Oh no no don't use rogaine on th face! I started a thread asking about that and the answers I got put me off it forever..not good at all.
And there's only a 1% chance of latisse changing eye color and that's if you put it DIRECTLY a into the eye multiple times a day like with the glaucoma patients

You can get Latisse without a prescription. Go to AllDayChemist. It is cheap there too. The shipping is a bit much, so I would buy two bottles at once if you are sure it is what you want to use.

I stopped using it because of the small risk of it darkening eye color. The risk is small but still not worth it to me when I like my light colored eyes as they are lol.

Instead I use Rimmel Lash Accelerator Serum. It doesn't make eye lashes or brows darker, but it conditions them, enabling them to grow stronger and look fuller.

Plain ol' castor oil can also do the trick.

Okay, good to know about the Rogaine. a dancer told me about it years ago but I had my doubts about it. I'm still afraid to risk the Latisse. I'm afraid I might be the 1%.

Just FYI the last I read (and this was a while ago) the eye color change warning on Latisse is there not because anyone's eyes were reported to have changed color in the trials w/ Latisse, but because it has happened when the same drug is used to treat glaucoma. However, as a glaucoma treatment it is applied directly into the eye and is a higher dose of the drug, and even in this case it was rare. You probably already know that, but I also read that the eye color darkening was only reported in people who already had brown pigmentation in their eyes to begin with.

Like I said this was a while ago that I read this. I definitely encourage checking up on this to see if there's more recent info. I figured this might be helpful as a place to start searching at least.

For what it's worth i have light eyes and have been using Latisse for over a year now and have no complaints. It did darken the skin on my eyelid but I actually kinda like it, and it fades if I forget to apply it as much. I ordered it off alldaychemist with no script.

Lots of reviews about people who put organic unrefined castor oil on their eyebrows, hair, and eyelashes every night. I myself put castor on my hair with coconut oil 2 times a week. Hair fall has stopped and my hair looks thicker

Any updates on using castor oil? I just bought myself some as a multi-purpose thing, but I've started putting it on my brows...

    my experiences:

castor oil: I used for a little bit on my brows, I wanna say I did see some results. I should probably start using it again.

latisse: too expensive for me to be worth it, but it does work. And my eyes are still green. I used it years ago when it first came out, but my real lashes are so tiny that even with latisse I still needed falsies.

coconut oil: I started using it to take off my eye makeup and I wanna say it did help my lashes get fuller/not fall out as much from the falsies

Anastasia brow serum: I started using it about a month ago on my brows. No dramatic results, but then again I need to be more consistent.

Burt's Bees has an oil eye serum that I was using for anti aging that had the side effect of making my lashes longer and thicker. I switched to retin a for anti aging and my lashes are now noticeably less full. I need to start using it again. Didn't do anything to make them darker though. I'm too paranoid to use latisse. Even if it's unlikely I love my eyes and won't risk doing anything to change the color.

A strong, well defined eyebrows act as a beautiful frame for the eyes and make a huge difference to the face. Over plucked eyebrows can age the look of the face. As the age increases, the brows becomes thinner making face looks older. My aunt was facing the same problem, so she started using eyebrow and lash enhancement serum of , which helps to enhance the look of the eyelashes as well as stimulate follicular growth and strength.

Use Jamaican Black Castor Oil you can find it at Walmart, sallys and other stores like that. But use it at night and rub it on your brows and your eye lashes right before bed. Don't be afraid if it gets in your eyes while you sleep because it will not burn, irritate your eyes or anything! The most that will happen is your get eye crust like if you slept really good at night and you just wash it off like normal in the morning. You can use it on your hair too to make it grow! Hope this helps!

Castor oil+ oil vitamin A+ oil vitamin E is the holy grail. I use it as eye cream as well because is efective against wrinkles, so I simply spread everything in the eyes area, including eyebrows. I use an old serum bottle with pump, so it can be easy for me to use it (where I live, I don't find castor oil in bottles with pump).
In the serum bottle I put 5% A vitamin + 5% E vitamin and the rest is castor oil.
Also, one of those vitamins (A or E, i don't have the bottle here to read), prevents castor oil oxidation.

I can tell, you usualy have results in about 2 months. Simply use it as eye cream (put 1-2 drops on finger tips, rub to warm up and massage gently onto the area, including eyebrows).
