Default I've found a great makeup setting spray

I just wanted to share with you all that I have found the BEST makeup setting spray that I've ever tried.

For those that don't use makeup setting spray, what it does is it basically "locks in" and "sets" your foundation/face makeup via the spray. It's basically hair spray for your face. I find that this is necessary for me when working in the club because I wear heavy makeup and I need it to last all night.

The brand is called Model In A Bottle, and I bought the "original formula." I bought mine on eBay, because I'm a cheapass, for $12 + free shipping. However, you can find it on many sites if you do a Google search. They have their official website as well.

I used to use Skindinavia, but it just doesn't work as well as this one. Urban Decay also has a few of these sprays, however I haven't tried them.

This Model In A Bottle makeup setting spray made my heavy foundation last ALL NIGHT in the club with ZERO touch ups through out the night. It's unbelievable.

The MiaB spray, however, has a very strong smell and has alcohol in it. Other than that, it ACTUALLY WORKS!

My makeup needs are slightly different (hot studio lights vs club dancing) but I set my makeup with...hairspray. For some reason I can sweat right through makeup setting sprays but hairspray works every time.

The Urban Decay one is great..... The "All Nighter" version. I just couldn't justify spending $40 something dollars for setting spray anymore, although I think you can find it cheaper now elsewhere. I was getting it direct from Sephora. My skin is oily as hell, so I have to touch up my face several times a night regardless. I've given up on the sprays for now, but I think I may try what OP recommended.

Fun fact about Urban Decay setting sprays--you can get endless free samples of the All Nighter spray (each lasts about 1-2 weeks) if you already buy other products from UD online. I'm kind of a junkie, so I know this lol.

So, put items you want to buy in your cart under your registered email account. Eventually, they'll send you a code for a 'free sample' of spray as an incentive to purchase. Usually it takes a day or three of browsing without buying and they send it to you. Ta-da, you may now try it 'for free' with the cost of whatever other product of theirs you like. Their primer potions (eye and complexion) are killer if you're looking for a justification of purchase. They also have a new Sephora/Ulta style rewards system on their website.

On that note, I've used their All Nighter and De-Slick (oil control) sprays and love both of them. Shit doesn't budge, especially with their primers as well. I've put the cheapest make up on earth over top the primers and under the sprays and had them stay all day. So yeah.

Good to know, I'll have to try it out. I usually use the MAC setting spray but currently have the loreal one because I wasn't able to get to a MAC store when I ran out last time. The loreal spray is pretty good too, especially for a drug store brand.

I just bought the Urban Decay de-slic setting spray for oily skin but it doesn't seem to help. I'll have to look into the model one.
