Well what program are you using to edit/render your videos? I personally use Windows Movie Maker and on the main screen, there's an option at the top towards the left called "caption", it will let you type whatever you want (no image), you can make the text whatever color and change the transparency, and then you just have to enter how many seconds the duration of the caption is, so to watermark an entire 10 minute video, I just enter 600 in the duration and that usually works and you can see how long it lasts for in the menu. Hope that helped.
