And what should i do, if it is. What if the girls have pimps, is there anything i could do to help them?

There is really no way to tell unless the club manager or other dancers inform you beforehand of what to expect (extremely unlikely). I mean I guess there could be other signs if you look for them...like seeing condoms in the dressing room or VIP room, or hearing sex noises coming from the VIP room. Aside from that, your best bet would be to do an internet search on the club you're interested in working at and see any reviews written about it. You could also look at Club Reviews on here and see what the dancers have to say about the club you're interested in (click on dancer reviews).
As for what to do about it, that's entirely up to you. Do you want to work at a club that does extras? If not, then dont. You probably wont make money if you work at an extras club without doing extras yourself. As for helping other girls who have pimps....noooo! stay out of it, this isn't the industry to "save" other people. Always worry about yourself, dont get involved in the drama or personal lives of other dancers. It does not effect you, so who cares!
Well some girls/customers will tell on themselves admitting to what they do or have done.
In the semi-private rooms you could glance over (don't stare - just quick glance) and see what the other girls are doing.
And some customers/dancers leave physical evidence.
Stay out of gossip. You never know who is lying and who is honest.
“Cook for him like a housewife, fuck him good like a nympho….pay the rent and the car note, he invests in me like crypto”

^^^yeah let's don't conflate those two. The first one, we can agree on. The second, a Madame, a booker, a driver, these are all people who are "facilitating her {appointments}" (to employ a less 1980s euphemism). A pimp? No. That's just a sex worker of either gender giving money away, mostly through threat of physical harm. There's a reason most countries that allow sex work in all its forms still ban pimps.
We all know "saving" is pointless and patronizing, but you're not gonna find a lot of fertile ground for pimp support.
Where Am I? Missing NYC

In my limited experience with pimps in my younger years - when I was much less discriminating about certain things - the sad reality was that the girls involved seemed perfectly happy with the arrangement. In fact, the last girl that I dealt with who openly had a pimp was actually bragging about the lifestyle that she helped to support for him. It was seriously twisted and, for me, it was the final straw.
I no longer deal with any girl who has a dude hanging around nearby. I don't care what anyone calls him, a driver, facilitator, SO, booker, whatever. If another dude is hanging around the club - keep in mind that I meet all my p4p partners in strip clubs - and is involved in any way when I am arranging an OTC encounter, then as far as I'm concerned he's a pimp and it's a no go. I simply want nothing to do with that anymore.
You will always have girls who do extras either in the club or outside of it. You will know if it is if security is not actively watching your dances. In extras clubs, they turn a blind eye to what is going on, try one night if it feels sketchy to you then leave. Sometimes you need to try a few places out. If girls have pimps you may never really know.
What should be red flag for you to leave is if pimps are coming in trying to talk to you, or girls are trying to recruit you. Because then you have to worry about your safety. Also never work at a club with bad security, make sure you are walked to your car at night, and that they will handle problem customers.
