Default Girls think I'm stealing customers

    Rant- sorry!!

So there was a guy who had called the club to ask if I was there. I had no idea who he was I guess he saw me at some point? Anyways he was sitting at the stage and my manager told me to sit behind him (the guy had asked him to tell me that). He wanted me to throw ones with him at the girl on stage so my manager let me sit with him at stage (I didn’t ask to sit with him there he wanted me to). So after we threw a decent amount of 1s, he asked to sit at a different table… And then a 15 minute VIP. So I thought everything was fine when the girl who was on stage confronts me and asks if I stole a guy from her stage. I said no, he was done throwing 1s and asked me for the dances etc. She said I could’ve waited until her set was over so she could get more? Then another girl came to me as well ( a new girl who I was getting along with… She even threw me ones when it was dead and I was feeling down) and said she had asked to go on stage after girl 1 because of that guy and thought I had her back?? Something something…. But I didn’t do anything, and are you really telling me I should’ve waited and convinced the guy to tip you more instead of getting my dances from him?? Idk. I don’t steal and don’t want anyone to think that. They didn’t buy my apology. I don’t want girls to think they can step all over me but I don’t want to be a bitch either… What should I do? Apologize more?

well (if you're being honest) sounds like you did what most dancers would do. Its not like a vanilla job where team work makes the dream work. Its every woman for herself! Thats why you can't get too friendly with the other dancers.

Dancer drama. You didn't do shit wrong. You had a paying customer that was dictating the moneyflow of his night and it happened to be in your direction. You apologized, but it wasn't your money to apologize over. It's not like you were being malicious or shady with either dancer.

Worry about making money, not friends.

These girls are being unreasonable. The situation you described happens all the time. You have no duty to make sure that customers spread money all around the club for everybody just cause he's in your presence and spending. Don't apologize anymore. Simply state exactly what happened once and then move on: Custie wanted me to sit and throw $ with him at the tip rail. Custie then decided that he wanted to leave the stage and do some dances. Conversation over.

Those girls are on one. Did they expect you to try to convince the customer to hold off on doing dances with you? He probably would have took that as you not wanting to do dances with him at all and found someone else or leave. da. Don't let them get to you.

Thank you! I was honestly so baffled, like seriously? You think I should've held off and convinced him to tip more money? To stay on stage when he wanted a VIP??

I do understand the first girl being a bit mad though because in her mind I could totally be lying and have some sneaky tactics or something up my sleeve lol. I don't though... The night was super shitty until then for me so I was so psyched to have more than 80 dollars -.-

They're over reacting and seeing if they can kind of push you around.

You're in the right. Sounds like they're just jealous that he wanted to leave them to go spend real money on you. Brush it off. They'll soon find someone else to be bitchy at.

    *BUMP*

Something like this happened to me too. A guy watched me onstage, then asked me for dances. The next girl onstage was all pissy pants because he got up from her stage to do dances with me. We made sure she got tipped before we left, but she wanted more.

And this same girl NEVER has her customers tip my stage before she does dances with them. But then she whines when people aren't practicing etiquette with her.
