    Default Tax in Denmark

    Any Danish girls here?

I would really appreciate some advice on how to report income from camming to the tax authorities (skat).

The tax rate on individual incomes in Denmark is extraordinarily high, 51% top bracket. The tax rate on businesses tops out at 25%. Businesses get more deductions than individuals too. For example, interest is a deductible expense in Denmark for a business, but not an individual. Individuals have the option of setting up as a business for tax purposes under certain circumstances. However, it is absolutely important that you hire a Danish tax accountant or lawyer to set up your tax status.

I sent you a pm, Zofia. I hope that's ok

Tax rates might seem high, but it's an escalating tax rate, so I'm no way near paying 51% tax
There have been so many misconceptions about Danish tax rates ever since Bernie Sanders mentioned that the US should look to the Scandinavian countries (incl Denmark).

No matter the brackets, the business rate is about half the individual rate. As a stripper, you want to take advantage of the business rate if you can. See a Danish tax accountant.

    Oh thanks.

But I don't really see the point. Sure I could start a company to take advantage of this lower rate - but then again, when this company paid me a salery, this income would be taxed also...

besides, I actually happy to pay my taxes. Means healthcare, education is free and you have a great wellfare system where noone has to be poor.

Depending on the particular type of company there may be double taxation, there may not. That's why it is important to see a tax accountant. Again, companies pay half the rate individuals do and get more deductions.
