I decided to post an ad on Backpage last week to see what kind of traffic I could get...holy crap, are the guys in my area rude dickheads. So, after sorting through crappy responses for most of the night, and only getting one appointment out of it, I decided to take down the ad. What I didn't know was that asexyservice.com is a piggyback site and took my ad from backpage and listed it there. So, for a week I'm still getting texts and emails, but couldn't figure out why until one guy who kept persisting when all others had given up, kept texting. He told me where he'd found my ad. He also called me by my real name.
So, this is where I go from being just slightly annoyed that my ad is still out there, to pissed. I keep up conversation with him to get as much info as I can. He has my name, personal cell #, facebook page, and personal twitter account. He's texting with a VoIP out of NY, and that's all the info I can get trying to screen. He won't give me his name, or where he works, and keeps insisting that he come to my house and pick me up for a date. He was very persistent about meeting today, VERY persistent, but I finally told him that today was not possible. So, he told me he'd contact me tomorrow, and stopped texting. I haven't gotten another reply out of him, and probably won't until he's back at work tomorrow morning.
What I'm trying to figure out is if this guy is just some crazy stalker that somehow managed to track me down, or if it's LE. There have been a lot of sting operations here lately, so I'm certainly paranoid and my guard is up way more than usual.
My bf wants to call him and tell him to leave me the hell alone and stop texting me, but if it is some crazy person, I don't want him getting set off. I live with my bf and another male roommate, so I'm never home alone, so if anyone does show up here, I'm not that terribly worried, but I am a little freaked out by the not knowing which it is.
Oh, I also made an off hand comment about him being a cop and setting me off, he just laughed, and asked again about meeting during his lunch break.
