    Default Stage dancing San Francisco

Hello, my name is lourdes, and I just moved to San Francisco from New York City. I don't officially live here yet as I have been traveling back and forth because I am trying to get myself situated before a permanent move. A bit about me; i'm 29 but look 18, people refuse to believe I am even in my 20's!!!!. I worked at hospital and so decided that I would try applying for jobs that within that industry but then decided that the reason I resigned from my job as an administrative assistant was because I didn't like it, not even a little bit, not a even a fraction of a little bit... I then decided to try applying to places i'd have never thought applying for employment;like becoming a dog walker or pet sitter, but nah, I have no time for cats with stink attitudes and dogs that might try to turn me into kibbles and bits. So my boyfriend actually suggested to me to try applying as a dancer because that is more me. I have taken pole dancing classes and i've always been a dancer since I was kid, I grew up in a Trinidadian/Indian household where we were taught to dance on our heads and were promised five dollars if we could whine our waists, I guess i'm not newbie after all, just joking. Anyway, i'd like to think i'd be able to at least audition at GoldClub in SF, I have naturally loooooooooong waist length hair, Stacey Dash complected, 5'4 and 118lbs so i'm not thick, I only have B-cups boobs though. I'm toned since I dance at times and keep active. I would like to be more of a stage performer though is that possible in SF Gentlemen clubs? or is everything more about lap dances?

I work in SF and from my knowledge, there are no strictly stage dancing clubs. The vast majority of most dancers money is from lap dances/private rooms. I don't think working solely as a stage dancer in SF is feasible. I mean you could definitely give it a try, don't tell Gold Club that all you want to do is stage dancing though. FYI Gold Club night shift is one of the hardest to get hired for and they have pretty strict scheduling requirements compared to other clubs. There are some clubs in San Jose that are more geared towards stage dancing if you don't mind the drive.

If you want to make big money as a stripper, you are going to have to sell VIP rooms and lap dances. Most clubs charge a high enough house fee to make it impossible for a stage-only dancer to cover her fees from her stage tips.

You may also consider applying for a go go dancer position. It'll be less money overall, but you won't have to hustle lap dances and won't have to get nude.
