in about a year, maybe less.
This will be my first pregnancy so no idea what to expect!
For the mommies, how long did you take off work? did you dance while you were preg or even showing? how soon before i can go back? any tips?

Maybe instead of dancing you could be camming.
Thanks Alexa
It's an option I'm open to, but I've never done it before, so there would be a learning curve, but that's ok.

While I am not a mother myself -I have danced with many many women that were pregnant. Most would continue to dance until they started to show. Some continued to dance a tad longer even after they showed alittle or they would switch over to waitress, shot girl, masseuse, etc. Many clubs are pretty willing to work with girls on this, obviously. Good luck chica & congrats on your decision!

I know girls that danced until they showed or a bit after. Maybe the club would be willing to give you another position until you're ready to come back dancing. Coat check girl or fill in house mom would be options where you would not be seen on the floor but obv some clubs are less strict about that.
Camming is a great option because I hear the guys go crazy over pregnant chicks and you could also do clips.

The last year I've danced with 4 girls until they were 5, 5 1/2 months pregnant. My club lets them go pretty far, I've never heard of management telling them they could not work. Normally they feel too big/self conscious and stop at that point. Never heard of money/customers being an issue. The biggest thing is other dancers walking around and running their mouths. I'd keep it secret from them as long as possible.
Not all of them have returned to work yet, but the ones who did varied from 2 weeks to 3 months. Depends on how comfortable they felt with their body, seems that confidence is a big part of it.
Lots of dresses, baby doll style top lingerie, robes, sweaters. As long as customers can see some tits the stomach isn't a thing.

I saved for a year before I got pregnant. Had about 50K to take the year off. If you can save money ahead of time that will take a load off your shoulders as you may suffer morning sickness, etc. I quit shortly after I got a positive test. My nipples were burning like hell at that time too!
Afterward I returned when my son was 6 months. It is also nice to spend time just being a mom for as long as you can and you will have a lot of baby paraphernalia you will want to buy.
I dieted and exercised like a madman to get into working shape, but didn't foresee my ab muscles splitting and not going back together, thus needing a tummy tuck. I didn't save for a mommy makeover type thing, so even though I quit dancing for now, I may have to return to pay for my tummy tuck. You may be young and not have any cosmetic problems, but not bad to set a little aside for that, too.
A lot of girls have said camming could be lucrative while pregnant but keep in mind that what you put onto the Internet will remain out there and dealing with nasty comments may be mentally taxing. This is why I opted not to do that.
Good luck to you.

My club lets them work days as long as they want, night shift is at managers discretion. There was one girl who was like 7 months along and working. If you can deal with fetish guys, it can still be lucrative.
"People jack off with the left hand and point with the right."
"You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave."
I was working in a bikini club when I found out I was pregnant. There was no nudity but I quit immediately, mostly because I was worried about falling wearing those high heels, and I didn't want drunk guys/smokers/people doing drugs in close vicinity with me. I knew one girl who danced up until she was 6 or 7 months! She wore dresses and would scrunch them around her belly to hide it...We thought she was gonna give birth in the club.
I went back to stripping in nude/topless clubs when my son was about 9 months old I think(?) I was still chubby but dancing helped me lose the baby weight. I still made decent $$ and got a lot of compliments on my "thick thighs." lol
I personally would take off while pregnant and a few months afters.
When you're pregnant and in the club first you're going to be tired as hell and it's going to be a challenge trying to work a long night shift
Also your sense of smell will be enhanced and if it's a smoke free club great but if not your baby will be subjected to second hand smoke. And smells like smoke, people's heavy perfume/cologne, etc will make you nauseous.
Third in the last trimester especially it gets uncomfortable to walk let alone dance. Having a 7+ lb human bouncing around in your uterus while you twerk is not the best feeling.
I give so much props to the ladies that do work dancing while pregnant but I believe that if you can save up beforehand and wait till after the baby is born then this will be easier for you.
