    Default Botox Units

So I'm getting Botox this week with a surgeon I've been waitlisted forever for. He was recommended to me but not many girls I know have gotten Botox with him. Am I supposed to tell him how many units I want or do I let him decide? I don't know which is better because I can be super controlling over what's done to my body like I've been with boobs/lasers/teeth so far but I kind of think maybe I'm better off trusting his own judgment since he was recommended to me? I've never gotten Botox done before, I don't want to look crazy!

He's actually doing my lips too. I'm in a private Facebook group for my area and all the girls rave about him and post their result pictures so I'm excited for that too!

Go with what he says regarding the Botox.
The lips, I would bring pictures of what your goal is.

Yes I have lip pics but can't figure out what to do for Botox. I'm almost certain I'll need 2 appointments or maybe even more because there's little chance they'll get the right amount the first time. They almost have to be conservative with it for a first timer. That's why I was wondering if I should just demand a certain unit number? I want the brow lift look

I don't think it works like that. Botox is not a filler. It paralyzes the muscle. I think you're thinking about fillers. Go in for a consult.

I've never done it before and don't really need it very much, but there's a couple of forehead wrinkles I want to try and minimize. And I want the brow lift look! I still have bangs, which I absolutely love and had no intention of getting rid of, but I feel like that look will compliment them!

Ariel is right Botox does not work like that. A normal syringe that I get is 20 units but the Botox itself (well, whatever they call it now- no one uses Botox) can be regular strength or diluted. 20 units will do either my whole forehead (I have no wrinkles what so ever though) or both sides of my crows feet (slight wrinkles when it is time to do the Botox again). The fillers (juvederm, rdaiesse, etc). Are what go in the lips and those they may have to add gradually. Also, from my experience of having fat transferred to my lip- expect swelling and down time on the lips. You will probably not be able to work the next day.
