Can anyone recommend good art classes online? Aside from things like Lynda or whatever that site that everyone recommends? I've been using YouTube primarily, which has been good, but I want something more structured.
Charcoal, watercolor techniques, and sculpting are personal interests. I finally broke into the art scene like with befriending people who make themselves kind of unavailable, and asked my art friends how they learned but they either went to top private art schools and regretted it or are self-taught. Ugh it's very love/hate with that scene because no one will reveal things of value fml
I'm not really a fan of art schools due to the price and either imposition of or lack of structure. I swear it's either one or the other! I was tempted to take art classes at a community college but I took a lot of them in undergrad and my friend who is an art major told me not to bother because they're too generic and don't focus on personal strengths.
