Default Developing a Street Hustle, during slow times. ANY ADVICE?!

Hey Everyone!! I'm super new to this board but SO GLAD I stumbled across this! I used to be a stripper a year ago and got into something else but I just wasn't happy with the money and decided I would take it one step further this time, escorting.

I have so far had a bit of a touch and go start with advertising online and have managed to make some clientele but it still is no where near steady enough to stick to just the whole online game alone. I would like to step it up and try going out some but Im not sure how I should go about approaching men out in public, other than the realm of a strip club.

I do have a pretty good judge of character and can be quite the conversationalist but to approach a man, in this scene. Im at a loss for words for some reason. Does anyone have any pointers on how you get started with something like this? websites or other info related to hotel escorting as well. Any help is greatly appreciated! Happy to be here!

I've done body rub / massage this way and would target travelers in high end hotel bars. Most of my advertising was done online but they are certainly good places to linger in between sessions and sometimes I'd get another customer that way.

This is how I started escorting. Without knowing a thing about escorting, a friend and I decided to go to an upscale hotel restaurant/bar just hang out. Guys would approached us there was no need to really engaged them. Just put out the signals that you area available.

If you're comfortable with dancing, consider mixing dancing and escorting (NOT in the club). Screen guys in the club, get their contact info, then hook up with them either afterhours or on a different day. You might be able to ask for more money this way, too, as guys just love to think that dancers never escort, and are therefore willing to pay a bit more to sleep with them (ridiculous, but whatever).

Everyone is likely going to jump all over me for being mean to you and understand that is not my intent. I am a bit alarmed because you mentioned "Street" in the thread title, mentioned public places and your quote above about being a "good judge of character". Also, if I remember correctly you posted in another thread that you had a boyfriend right now but he understood your decision until you reached a certain financial goal.

I do not mean to make any assumptions and I seriously hope these signals I am seeing are off or I am reading it incorrectly... PLEASE, PLEASE tell me you are not considering actually working in the streets. I have known a few girls who thought they were a good judge of character as well- but are now dead. As much as I want to post the individual stories here I will not as I know it is a place of support for sex workers. But these were real people that I knew personally, and I was not a prostitute. Walking the streets is extremely dangerous.

If you are thinking of working at hotels, then that is another story. I also recommend if you can somehow network with drivers that take people to and from the airport to hotels or even people that work at the hotels (obviously be careful) but from what I understand these guys are asked about girls all the time. Also, Charlie's advice is not bad advice either.

I am sorry if I misunderstood what you were saying; I know I read between the lines a little bit- I just want to make sure you are doing what you want to be doing and that you are safe.

You generally give great advice, even if you don't always offer a popular or fun opinion. (I've seen you give great advice in other threads and not get 'thanked' at all for it, just because you weren't cheerleading the OP's decisions).

Thanks. I am not known to hold back. I've just seen it all and would like to prevent people from screwing up if I can.

I'll remind you that LEO prefers the low hanging fruit. I have to believe it can be challenging for providers to 'follow the book' and use good screening methods and more traditional advertising venues. That said, in my town, Backpage and girls working hotels/bars/our any 'street' pickup venue (we now have legalized Casinos - not Las Vegas) is where LEO likes to troll. When I see the news, that is how they did their sting. Deploying in the field using techniques they've mastered over decades, it just seems to be how they enjoy spending taxpayer money to enforce illegitimate laws.

My point is, please tread lightly and I hope you take some the advice given - like that of Charlie. Usually there are alternatives to taking more risk.

Thank you for your input, I really appreciate you caring enough to show concern. I may have not worded things correctly because heading out to the local ho stroll to shake a lil' leg, isn't my style. When I said ' streets' I more so meant outside the online realm. I think online through hobby boards, sure it is a great way to get clients but I would like to branch out of that, of course, with precaution. I was thinking more along the lines of 'hotel escorting' just as some others already gave great tips to what I was referring to but visiting more upscale venues to bring clients in.

I would like to be able to reach more, I don't think that this means I have to lack a screening process doing it this way. The nature of this business is very unpredictable and you never know who you are dealing with and at all cost we do what we have to protect ourselves. Nobody has a good enough judge on character to know everyones intentions but if you keep your eyes open and you really pay attention, the more you do something or study something the better you get at it but that doesnt go to say I won't be wrong at times but with screening and a cunning attitude, I hope to save my ass!

Not too sure what my other post about my boyfriend is saying to you in conjunction with this post, and I have no problems discussing but I will say that I am in a very happy, very loving relationship, we have no agreement between us to make a quota before I will stop BUT what the issue for us is, when you love someone so much sex is sacred at least I feel it should be( Im going to contradict myself as a sex worker in 3..2.) but this is how I chose to make money. Of course I could stop and do a plethora of things but I have financial goals that I would like to accomplish and although he is understanding of what I do, it doesnt stop the fact that it kinda sucks having your gf sleep with other people. My only solution I can see fit is to just get what I want from this and move forward.

I recently saw another post about a sex worker who no longer uses the internet to find clients https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sh...ight=hotel+bar and I was intrigued. The links were no longer current and I wanted to hear more tips on this subject. Im not against totally finding clients online but sometimes there are lulls and the hobbyist forum options aren't enough, in those times I do not just want to sit by and watch my bills stack.

Hopefully this kind of gives a little more insight as to my intentions, I am very sorry for your loss and I hope to learn from the mistakes of others and in any environment use the utmost caution. Saying 'streets' was more of a figure of speech.

Thank you again for your insight!

Ok. Good. That was what I hoped you meant and I did not mean any insult. I didn't mean to insinuate anything about your BF either, I have just become a little jaded with the shit I have seen in the stripperdom. I dunno where on the West Coast you are but I hope it works out. Set a high price for yourself because you are worth it! Good luck and know that here, on Stripperweb there are plenty of people willing to help you in the best way we know how; by our own past and present experiences.
