Default Best running sports bras for women with breast implants

I love running but I stopped when I got implants four years ago. I've only been doing weight training and for cardio the step master and elliptical, options that don't make my boobs bounce too much lol

I'd to start running again but I can't run five minutes without my breasts starting to hurt from the impact...

The only bras I have are the Lululemon Tata tamers, I love them but think I need something with even more support for running.

What are your favorite bras and brands?
I was also wondering if VS sports bras are any good?

I have 425 cc saline unders and usually wear bras in 32DD, sometimes 32E, so it's not always easy to find bras my size but I realize it could be harder...

I like Shock Absober, they are really comfy and give proper support.

They have a variety of different support levels depending what activity you need them for and the running ones obviously give extra firm support, even for a larger bust.

I've also had sports bras from Berlei and Triumph that were good.

As a natural 30DDD/32DD (because really, no one makes 30DDD bras reliably), I feel your pain. I don't know if implants are going to make a substantial difference, but I can give you input regarding big tatas and running.

First things first--totally eliminating bounce is something I have yet to manage. I've gotten close though and my titties don't hurt when I run anymore.

In my experience, tips/things to look for:

    1) Crossback style is superior to traditional straight straps.
    2) Underwire is a must.
    3) A double layer bra is a must, with at least one layer being molded underwire and the second layer looking like a cheapo sports bra to hold everything in tight.
    4) The higher up the cut of the bra, the better. Seriously, I'd get the sucker up to my neck if I could find it.
    5) Look for a bra that lists itself as 'maximum control' and that is made specifically for DD+ sizes

From VS, I own this bra: https://www.victoriassecret.com/vict...alogueType=OLS

From Bare Necessities (a wonderful site), I have this Moving Comfort bra that I love: http://www.barenecessities.com/movin...54&search=32DD

A quick search of my personal size sports bras at BN brings up this list, which you can tailor to your own needs, and is full of several nice options: http://www.barenecessities.com/32DD-...tyle,12064.htm

Looking at the Lululemon Tata Tamer bra you mentioned, my first thought is that the underwire looks good (+1 point), but I suggest a larger cross-back style (as in the VS bra I linked above) for better control and it would be more supportive if it had that built in second layer over the underwire option. I do also like how high the cut is (+1 point again). It's a good start, but improvements can be made, lol.

    God speed with your tatas!

I loved the VS sports bras I had. I need to get new ones. They lasted a while. Probably the most comfortable brand of sports bra I've had. This was a long time ago, so hopefully they haven't changed the style.

I get so confused too because I feel like I need to pull the straps tight so that my tits will actually be lashed to my chest and supported but then that kills my neck, but if I loosen the straps I have no support and might as well not wear a bra. I've heard that the band is supposed to do most of the supporting, I wear my correct band size but should I go smaller or something? My implants are 1400ccs and while they're not heavy to me at all because I'm 5'10 I wonder if they're too heavy for bra bands. Strapless bras don't hold my boobs up at all or even stay on, my tits push them down and off.

For the OP, I have heard many big-boobed chicks mention layering sports bras, like wearing 2 at once while they work out. If I actually ran(lol) that's probably what I'd do.

I like the sports bras that have the molded cups. I find my boobs stay in place and don't bounce around as much as a standard sports bra.

I've tried so many since I'm pretty active and ironically the ones I got at Target are the best lol. I'm headed to the Nike store next week- are theirs worth the cost and hype?

I saw one online @ Nordstrom, it goes up to a size J. I think its Phadra brand, or a similar name.
I've also heard of larger ladies wearing 2 @ a time?

I wear a normal bra and then a sports bra on top (just a shitty one) but then on top of that I wear that strap that the doctor gave me.

The VS I have (with the mega cross-back) does make my neck and shoulders hurt if I wear it all day, for sure. It's because the band isn't the only thing supporting the girls. With a day-to-day bra, the goal is to keep the girls up and looking good. With a sports bra, the goal is to keep the girls strapped in tight. Generally, the best way to achieve that is to put pressure opposite the direction they want to go, which is why cross-back is so good--it literally straps them to your chest by pulling against your back (to stop outwards bounce) and neck (to stop upwards bounce). Wearing these for 1-2 hours is no big deal for me; longer than that and it starts putting undue pressure on my back. Unfortunately, it's sort of a design flaw in cross-backs, but I've yet to find anything that can beat them out for larger chests. Basically--no, you're not crazy or doing anything wrong!

Yup--layering is a big thing. That's why I suggested the double layer bras. The Moving Comfort link I posted is one of these with a molded cup underwire against your chest and then the super-tight second layer over top to really suck 'em in. Layering actual bras is exceedingly uncomfortable and puts a lot of undue pressure on my chest personally, so I don't do it. Seriously, nothing like feeling close to passing out from chest compression due to elastic to make you rethink all of your life choices.

I think the big thing to take away from sports bra shopping with big titties is this: the bouncy-bounce factor is a real bitch; now strap those fuckers in!

Don't laugh but JC Penney carries a line of activewear that has some really high quality sports bras. For the price it's worth looking. TBH for extra large breasts you're probably better off going with a more expensive option.

I wear the Knockout VS sports bra with the zipper and clasp in the front and I love it. I can't wear normal unlined sports bras because my nipples always show. The Knockout has cups in it so that helps with the nipple showing problem and it gives me more support. I love that bra and it's easy to take on and off. I'm a 34DDD in that bra.

I am trying to get back into shape and purchased and tried many sports bras in the past 6 months. I have 36DD breasts and it is not always easy to find good sports bra that give enough support. My favorite brand is moving comfort. I own 4 styles of Moving comfort bra. Mia, Juno, Fiona and Rebound bra. I like all of them but I think the bra giving most support for running is Juno. I am glad I found moving comfort brand. If you have a chance try this brand you might like it.

Thank you so much for all the suggestions!

I ended up getting the VS Knockout bra and it's great so far! I tried the Incredible and it looked amazing but with the low cut and cleavage showing, it wasn't the best option for running haha. I wasn't going to try the Knockout but the sales lady suggested it's the best for running because it's two bras in one and she was right! It's really discreet too so it's easy to put a tank top with some support over.

I tried wearing two sport bras before but it was too much trouble and too much laundry... The Knockout is great!
