Thumbs up URBAN DANCERS!!! I think i get it

After 2 years, reading stripperweb up and down. I think i get it.
I was naive in thinking that none of the advice/threads would apply to urban/black clubs but indeed it does. I worked this past thursday at my club ace of spades and i dont know what was different about that day but i woke up refreshed, and just feeling great sll together.
ive dealt with body issues my whole life, being compared to others by my mom and having self esteem issues in general but this past year ive become to love myself(plus me teaching pole dance has boosted my confidence since i can dance my ass off).
    1. I had confidence out this world, it was like no other girl was in the club. I dressed how i wanted to and wat i was comfortable in. Im not big/fat but compared to other girls im a little above average (36-30-48, 5' im all muscle plus i wear 7 inch heels. I walked the floor like i was theeeeeeee SHIT!!!
    2. I talked to everyone in the place. 25% of the customers were rude but i didnt take it to heart i just turn3d there attitude around on them and got spicy back with them in a nice way.
    3. I only stayed and talked for 3 songs unles it was slow. It was really slow for abot an hour and i stayed and drank and talked with a custo for like 15-20 mins. He bought me drinks, and tipped me for my time. A vet dancer kept intercepting my sales do i chuncked him up as a loss and walked away.
It rained 200 on me on stage in front of her face so forget it.
    4. Personality wise i was me in the real world x100. Silly, funny, sexy, cool. Really confident, not scared or intimidated AT ALL.
    5. I RARELY WAS IN THE DRESSING ROOM. I only went to change, take a wash up, freshen up, and stack my money.
    6. I never stopped dancing. When it was slow and no one was on stage i went on stage to dance/practice.
    7. Shy guys- i was open with them to get them comfortable.
    8. Instead of saying do u want another dance i would say "you dont want me to stop do you?" Or i would ask u want me to keep going?" All while grinding on their dick.

The only bad part of the day is the vet dancer who tried to latch on to me but later i found out she got in trouble for selling pussy. She came over to my first customer and sat in my seat while i went to get the bartender. When i came back she said she just wanted to talk to him because he was an old friend. Fuck that, i got my drink and left which i shouldnt have done (but he made it clear i wasnt gonna dance for him in so many words). The second cust was in a booth i talked to him, sat down got tipped for talking and as she was walkin by she stopped and said hi to the customer and told him to take good care of me bcuz i was her cousin. I kinda played into it and when she came back she told the customer she never seen me a day in her life. played me lmaooooo

    But the day wad great

I stayed 2 hours into the night and i could not figure out the hustle, it was so fast. Girls were hopping tables and collecting cash piles like no ones business. But i was nervous so i stayed in the background to get a feel, because it 2as almost like they knew the guys.
Any advice on night shift would be great.
p.s. i think i did bad on night shift because i was tired from day shift, and i didnt eat all day

If you're comfortable during the day, just do day shift. You could keep going at night, but you'll end up losing more than making. I rather urban clubs nowadays bc it's fast and I actually get to enjoy the music all night.

^exactly. if there's money on dayshift stay dayshift. i HATE black clubs at night. You need confidence for dayshift? try that times 1 million on night shift! a lot of coming up to guys and starting to dance and hoping they will make it rain on the floor. At least that's how miami is.

sorry that's really the only tip i have, confidence. and if you are good on the pole you should be golden.

Yes day shift was great yesterday on thursday. Ill stay dayshift. Nightshift gets packed, hot, irritating, and its alot.
i have confidence. I noticed im being to nice and i picked up my hustle. I used to friend zone myself and im gettiny out of that. I usually just introduce myself be sexy, talk for about a song or two then i pop the question, actually i tell them im gonna dance on the next song.

That's great you made your money and felt good, there is more money in a night shift but the competition is tough and you may end up with less. I'd like to try a day shift to start but the urban clubs in my area make no money in the day.

Yes i stayed for night shift nd got ran over like a herd of cattle attacked, nd its more custies there who KNOW particular dancers.
Im staying on dayshift for a while because its money to b made.

Im shy nd i have to not hesitate just go. Young guys are the issue bcuz there hard to break.
conversation starters are a problem to. I just walk up ask hows there night blah blah blah get them talking then suggest a dance.
ive been taking notes nd im gonna post them.
    Hows ur hustle?
