We don't know whether she was lying then or she is lying now, but I agree that the fact that she lied at least one of these times is not helping her. I'm not going to rehash all the ways that this allegation stinks to high heaven - we did this in another thread. But I think it is fair to say that the timing and many sordid circumstances around this have made a lot of people skeptical, me included tbh, and overall have just cheapened the accusation (whether true or not).
I think that a Dr. Luke spokesman made some fair points when he said:
The Court repeatedly stated Kesha was already free to record without Dr. Luke, and that she had not presented any facts supporting her claims. That's because all the evidence — including Kesha's own sworn testimony— show her allegations are false. Her attorneys can continue manufacturing even more false and outrageous claims, but the fact remains that her time would be better spent in a studio than wasting time having her lawyer and mother spin lies in the media.
Now obviously that's what Dr. Luke's people are going to say, but given the lack of anything approaching evidence, I sincerely doubt that any appeal court is going to overturn the lower court ruling. At this stage, if she wants to salvage what's left of her career, it's time to get herself into the studio, get into touring shape (no wonder Dr. Luke kept on her about her weight - she looks like a Cocker Spaniel now) and start getting some cash and positive exposure coming back in.
