Search To weave or not to weave?

I'm a newbie and I'm planning on doing some walk in auditions/ interviews in the next few weeks. I'm having a hair dilemma however, I have a shoulder length kinky Afro and I normally wear really long extensions about mid back length but the clubs I'm going to are not urban and I'm not sure if I should go with shorter straight extensions maybe armpit length or curly extensions ( think ab from tazs Angels). I'm black btw very skinny and 5'7. I've heard some customers complain about black girls and weave, nonsense but I don't want it to affect me getting hired or tipped more.

Well, from reading on here & the type of club you want to try @, I'd try the straight extensions? Can u show some pics tho? The curly ones may work too..
But anyway, best of luck to you!!!

A pic of me with long extensions and a pic of the type of curly hair I had in mind and the length of straight hair I had in mind.

Thank you ! I get such mixed reviews/ answers that I'm all over the place. I want to get my persona just right.

I think your normal long extensions look great. They aren't overly full (I am white and I like mine like the third picture when I get a body wave.) Do something you are comfortable wearing for the normal length of time you wear a sew-in. Nothing is sexy about someone who looks uncomfortable and not in her skin.

People complain about black girls with extensions?! The jerks would complain about black girls without extensions too.

Thank you I will stick to what I rock the best, unfortunately yes I've had customers in vanilla jobs and sd's alike give me their unwanted opinion. Either they hate extensions or that they prefer me with straight extensions ( insert Charlie Brown "good grief" meme if I had one lol)

Lol the face pictures are not of me although I am cute with a bit of awkward charm. That's actually not a bad idea, I went to scores with my sister years ago and they asked me if I wanted to audition. I'll try to get a guy friend to go they'll get a kick out of it and I won't have to spend my own cash lol.

Play it straight. No pun intended but your best bet is to be as en pointe as possible.

I like the first and second pic, the third looks....well, not as glamorous and sexy as the others, just in my opinion.

You're gorgeous, love those lips I like the curls, because they'd be a bit of a novelty, but they're not so tight that your hair would look short. The straight hair looks very caucasian/ latina

A lot of strippers wear extensions of some sort, regardless of race. I'm mixed and my real hair is about 15" long right now and I have 18" clip ins for work. I've had them for over a year now and my hair has grown so I'm going to order some 22" ones.

I'd recommend a long straight weave or one with loose curls. I usually wear mine straight, but I sometimes will change things up and use my curling wand for a few days.

You're beautiful and will rock it with whatever hairstyle you end up going with.

Beautiful!!! Personally think straight hair would be better.

Out of all of the 3 pics, I like the middle straight hair one the best. All are beautiful, but the straight hair looks the most classy.
