Hello ladies! I have been dancing about 7 months now (not counting my peep show days with a nice cushy carpet). I know this job will trash your knees... but I am wondering if it is possible to get permanent bony re-modeling... that knob of bone that the knee-cap tendon attaches to, the top of the tibia (shin bone)... just seems to keep getting knobbier and knobbier on me. Some of it seems to be bruising and swelling, but when that goes down, I can't tell if it is just calloused skin or if the bone is actually getting bigger. Probably no-one else notices but me, but I don't think it's attractive.
Also, please ignore the non-shaved legs in the pic. It's my day off, damn it
I know I should try harder not to do floor work, or grind on my knees on the bar... but I just get so into the music! I bought some knee pads but even the low-profile ones look bulky.
Ideas? Just stop dancing so damn hard? Maybe I need to start playing music I don't care about so I don't get as into it
Will this disappear someday?
I will save the post about my poor low back for another day...
