Default Landlord Says In-Call Must have Legal Name on Buzzer

Posting for a friend offering sensual massage - After setting up an in-call, getting a new email, new burner phone, etc, the landlord has questioned why the sticker with last name keeps getting taken down on the mailbox and door entrance. He says it is a requirement for fire department, so if they respond to a call they know who to look for. Any ideas on how to work around this?! Any customer can see it on their way to or from the appointment?!

Without any idea where this is taking place, how could anyone check for relevant statutes or ordinances?

Tell the landlord maybe squirrels take it?

Tell the landlord it is a privacy/security concern.
Many of the obstacles you once imagined are not even there.

similar to the post about privacy/safety concerns, your friend could say she left an abusive partner or had a stalker.

Tell the landlord you have a not-so-nice ex with stalker tendencies who you don't want to find you.

I can't imagine that this is a requirement from the fire department. It seems so incredibly scary and unsafe. I would never live anywhere where they required me to post my name. It just seems like you are inviting trouble.

However, now that I think about it, a couple of people I know have to have their names on their call boxes so they can buzz you into their apt. Their last name will be next to their apt number and you need to push the apt number and then they have to buzz you in. This is in LA. I will have to ask them if this is a requirement of living in their building.
