    Crossfingers Slimming thighs

    The great news- I'm pretty fit & strong. The bad news- my thigh muscles are so built up that the knees have wrinkles at the top from the muscle pushing down on the creases of skin.

    It looks nice in the club at work (hourglass shape) but it's adding to my overall weight (which is a huge problem for getting booked at higher end clubs, they are very tough on weight limit rules.)

    I got advice from someone who works out a lot but was wondering if anyone had ideas here. I know actors & actresses frequently lose a lot of weight & change body shape for roles so I figure if that's possible I can slim down my chicken thighs.

    edit to add- I'm going to reduce dairy products out of my diet & see what happens.

    i think pilates is good for that, you elongate muscles.

    You can't spot-reduce fat. Everyone loses fat in different places at different rates. Lower your caloric intake/increase cardio, stop doing quad-dominant exercises, and wait patiently!

    I also have thick, muscular things *sigh*. Coolsculting is a good, non invasive option for contouring if you are looking at doing the cosmetic route. Otherwise pilates is great for slimming/lengthening as opposed to weighted lower body workout that build on existing mass.

    If you want to keep toned but lose some mass, you might switch up the kind of physical activity you're doing (assuming you're going out of your way to do anything right now.) For example, riding a bike will bulk up your legs, where running will slim them down.
