Default Just got fiberoptic...changing settings on Adobe FMLE and having issues

Hey all! Wondering if I can get some tech help. I have a Mac with Logitech C920 and I use FMLE to stream on SM. I downloaded the 1280x720 settings file on SM, used their steps to do the custom profile, and started a test stream.

My cam will only do 10fps and not go above 733kbps with those settings for some reason. I restarted and used the 720HD file, which is what I was using before I got fiber installed today, and did a test stream, everything perfect with 800kbps. I have 15Mbps up now so not really understanding what's going on.

Maybe I'll just use my newfound upload speeds to split cam on another site. Do you get a good boost that's worth it to do the 1280x720 HD settings? Just wondering if it's worth it to keep fucking around with trying to get my stream to work on the new settings or not

If anyone on Mac ends up having this issue, my solution was to no longer use FMLE, but a combo of camtwist and wirecast to pipe my feed to SM (and whichever/however may sites I choose to split cam with) at 1280x720...everything is working harmoniously and I won't even need to log off SM to take Skype shows

Hi, I know this post is a little old, but thank you for sharing! I have had tremendous issues with FMLE similar to yours (I think it's really outdated and no longer receives support/updates--their support link is broken even). I am going to try your method, but I wanted to ask: What do you mean by splitting cams with other sites or doing Skype shows without leaving SM? Like you continuously stream on SM while off on a Skype show? Do you stream to multiple camming sites at once? I apologize for all the questions, but I'm very confused. I guess I don't understand how you can stream more than one show at a time, and how you can remain on Streamate while also being on Skype, or what reason you would do that for. I hope my questions made sense, and thank you again for sharing how you resolved your issue!

Also, when you say a combination of camtwist and wirecast, do you mean both at the same time? Or in combination with FMLE? Can you not stream directly from camtwist or wirecast?
