Has anyone had success with a high carb and high protein vegan diet?
Has anyone had success with a high carb and high protein vegan diet?

I think it varies from person to person. I ate this way for awhile (with occasional fish) but did not start to lose weight until I lowered my carb intake no matter how few calories I consumed. I've had PCOS issues (I've never had a regular period) and that is basically code for pre-diabetes. As long as I do low GI, it works great for me. I still consume occasional fish/seafood though.

What are you trying to succeed at?
"Do you do tech support in exclusive?"
Don't call me BB...I'm not the prime minister of Israel!
I'm trying to lower my body fat %. I'm also a competitive extreme endurance athlete so I still need to maintain a high carb diet.

That is my #1 protein source. It's good. You just have to watch out with calories from fat. I feel healthier than ever. I used to not like beans and now I love them. I have almonds or walnuts most days, and also peanut butter in moderation. I swear they are a good substitute when you're craving sugar, I don't know what it is. I don't even crave sugar anymore now.

Yeah cutting sugar down (for me) has resulted in me feeling much much better.
I'd say to OP, just avoid crap carbs, like refined anything & non-squeezed fruit juice? Tea is also a big part of my day.

This channel might be useful to you - she popped up today in my youtube feed - a couple of those shakes look really good and are high protein and vegan.

Look up Marzia Prince. She's a vegan fitness model. She has a Jessica Rabbit body too.
