Angry Video always goes blurry when I move around... (streamate, logitech c920)??

yeah basically the title. my camera and video looks flawless as long as i sit relatively still. as soon as i start moving around, my video goes super blurry and lags/jumps around.

the problem is not with my internet, laptop, or camera. I have checked all of my equipment multiple times and it's all above the recommended specs that streamate recommends for HD. (dual core, i7 laptop, 11 mbps internet upload speed, logitech c920 camera, 3 point lighting with 100W day light bulbs and two open windows).

i'm using the adobe encoder- streaming at 1200 kbps at 1280x720 output, 29.97 fps, H.264. on 'my ranking' tab, i score 'excellent' at all three streaming factors.

does anyone else have trouble with the video going blurry when you move around? how do i fix it...? this camera is brand new (literally a week old) and it was the most recommended camera that i saw overall. i should also mention that i have tried streaming with SMBroadcast (which SUCKS), and i have tried all of the recommended settings/profiles given by streamate for using the encoder, as well as messed around with my own settings in the encoder MULTIPLE times.

    help pls?

Did you turn the auto-focus off?

I have huge boobies and just standing up with them causes this to happen, if they jiggle in the slightest. But when I turn off the auto focus the problem went away. But make sure the autofocus is all the way to the left before you turn it off. That locks it in.

see if it makes a difference when the settings are on "automatic" except the zoom. Zoom should be all the way to the left.
After all settings are on automatic (and hopefully it does not blur when you move), try to remember ( taking a screen shot helps) what position they were in and then uncheck them.this might help.
It this does not help try to get more light ( lamps) around you.

Yep, auto-focus & Big Boobs don't mix. If I didn't turn my off it will be re-focusing constantly since my boobs are bigger than my head. LOL

at 1280x720, you should be streaming at a minimum of 2000kbps upload. fix that setting and hopefully it solves your problem.

I had to give up using adobe encoder just yesterday when I got fiberoptic. I have amazing specs on my laptop, c920 cam, and fiberoptic internet. With SMs own xml profile for adobe FMLE, I would only get 600-733kbps upload with 10fps. I switched over to wirecast and it solved my problem and actually gives me amazing everything...I'm now rated excellent on bitrate, fps, and latency.

i've never heard of wirecast. is it similar to the encoder? how do you use it with streamate?

Wirecast is a live streaming platform and you can actually choose to use an FMLE profile!!!!! You can download the xml file from streamate's site and then open it in a text doc and input the settings into wire cast. The settings are a bit tedious to set up the first time, but once you get it all set up, it's copy and paste the 2 links from streamate over to wirecast exactly the same way as you would with FMLE. Wirecast is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for me.

I have a mac and the best splitcam software is CamTwist. It's free...but not compatible with FMLE. Before I upgraded to fiberoptic and changed my FMLE settings, I was using my C920 as the camera and feeding that to SM. But if I got a Skype show (since I only have 1 cam), I would have to log off SM, turn off FMLE, and then start my Skype show.

For the skyprivate guys that just call, and they have money on their account to spend, I'd hate having to decline the call and telling them to hold on a second while I logged of my livestream. Sometimes they were like, ok, and other times they never called back once I logged of SM and closed out FMLE. So then I'd wait a couple minutes, realize they weren't going to call back, and then open FMLE back up and livestream back to SM...this made for lots of wasted time.

I now use CamTwist as the camera for Wirecast. I also have Skype using CamTwist as the camera. Now when I get a skyprivate show and am in free chat, I can just hit the break button and give the skyprivate show...because those SP guys hardly ever talk to you first and they just call. I do the same thing with Skype bookings from CMD, LCMS, and other indie sites I'm on if the booking is less than 10 minutes. Makes it a lot easier.

Another REALLY cool thing about wirecast is you can set up as many live streams as you want...as many as your CPU and bandwidth will allow! You can create "scenes" too. For example, I might be in a Skype show longer than 10 minutes and not want to sign off streamate. I can create a "scene" that is a splash image of me that says "I'll be right back" and not have to hit the break button. I could also create a "scene" that is a mini commercial of me saying "thanks for stopping by my room. I stepped away for a moment and this is a recording of xyz for you to enjoy until I get back."

I haven't done any "scenes" and using them in place of the break button on SM yet because I'm not sure of SMs policies about having a recording or a splash image while you go on break instead of actually hitting the break button. The dilemma would come if some horny guy took you private while on that non-live "scene" or tried to take you exclusive.

Pixelating while recording may be the laptop not being powerful enough xx
