I'm so sensitive when it comes to waxing the only thing I wax are my eyebrows lol so I shave almost everyday. I used to use regular shaving cream but now I use Skintimate dry skin shaving gel and it really helps keep my skin from getting irritated. Definitely recommend!

I've found that a moisturizing body wash and warm water are the best "shave creams" for my really sensitive skin, and I shaved pretty much every day. I just started laser hair removal in an attempt to have to shave less and to have less irritation when I do shave. A BHA applied after shaving also helps to curb ingrown hair, IME, but you can't use them within a week of getting lasered, in case that's an interest of yours.

I don't shave daily. I'm really blind without my glasses and shaving takes an hour or more for me. When I do shave I use the Gillette Fusion with conditioner. I tried using a lesser quality razor recently and it was horrible >.> I don't know why anyone would ever do that to themselves. They were 1 day razors and I said fuck this and threw the rest out and went and spent the $30 for a new razor.

I use the Hydro Silk razor and change out the heads regularly. The first shave or two from each head are out of this world. Super, super smooth, no irritation, just one swipe and done. I use the same razor for my legs, so if you just use it for your sensitive bits, you can probably extend the number of amazing shaves you can get out of it. The main problem with it is the white strip of whatever-it-is that hydrates your skin or whatever is super goopy and pretty much disintegrates in water. It's this stuff that makes the shave so amazing at first -- it kind of melts onto your skin from the water, and things are wonderful. After a few shaves, though, pretty much all the stuff is gone and it just becomes another average (still pretty good) razor. Keep it out of water's reach when you're not using it.

I don't tend to shave everyday if I can avoid it -- I work in a topless club, so a bit of stubble is nbd since I'm wearing a thong anyway. I also tend to stagger my days. On the rare occasion where I am shaving every day, I exfoliate before hand and make sure to always go with the grain, and only go over a given area once. Even if it doesn't completely remove all visual evidence of hair for whatever reason, I can cover whatever remains with foundation and powder -- much easier to hide than angry red bumps from getting too aggressive with a razor. If transwomen can hide 5 o'clock shadow on their faces in broad daylight, I can hide a couple tiny patches of not-quite-stubble down south in club lighting.

I have been lasered so I never have to shave and never get ingrown hair or pay for waxing. Worth the $1200 investment. Not sure why more dancers don't get it done

Yeah, I'd recommend getting LHR. Even if you can only get a session or two for financial reasons, that will result in a significant decrease in the amount and thickness of hair regrowth, which makes it a million times easier to shave.

I love using coconut oil, instead on shaving cream. Its makes for a very smooth shave, and leaves my legs feeling wondering. Plus it last forever.

My skin is very sensitive to shaving as well. In addition to working in a nude club and having naturally almost black hair, I have to shave several days a week. Best things that work for me:
-quality razor and use a fresh blade often (I use a 4 blade one)
    -thick, creamy shave gel
-Shaving in the direction of hair growth. It wont leave you perfectly smooth to the touch but is close enough there's no visible stubble. I found for some reason angling the strokes gets a closer shave. This is easily the best tip I've every got, shaving against the grain leaves my skin ANGRY.
-After the shower I do a light swipe of solid deodorant or very thin coat of neosporin

I am now using baby power after i shave and it's been improving a lil, what a fucking nightmare this hairs lol

    Found this:
Braun Silk-expert is an IPL system which results in permanent visible hair removal in as little as four treatments. It works beneath the skin's surface by targeting the melanin in the hair follicle, helping to break the cycle of hair re-growth. With continued, regular use, it helps prevent unwanted hair from reaching the skin surface.

I shave every single day with sensitive skin and never get any ingrown hairs or serious irritation.

Soak in warm water and exfoilate beforehand (I have a sponge but you can get gloves for like 3$) then I use Smitten Kitten (I use to work at a sex store and got this from a seminar we had with Sensuva but this is actually not on the market yet! I, however, cannot reccommend Coochy Cream enough! Better than any other shave cream I've used) and apply generously. Shave in the direction of hair growth, then rinse with cold water and exfoilate after. Pat dry, then occassionally I will pat dry again with rubbing alcohol. Finally rub some non-scented deodorant over and viola!

I "needed" to shave once at a club, as stubble was Not going to fly there for a couple of reasons..The office bathroom had this Shave Butter stuff in the cabinet ,( we always look, dont we?? LOL) and a Decided to try it . It was Dr carven ?? This stuff just was amazing, probably the smoothest I have been, zero goose bump looking skin. I cant find it in stores, but maybe its under another brand.

I'm prone to bumps, so it's almost like if I don't shave every day my skin wants to fight back. But as of now, I'm winning my battle

I used to wax myself. Started getting waxed, then the pre waxed strips and eventually got my own warmer and real up close and personal with myself. But I can't be hairy for that long any more so back to shaving...

    1. I use men's razors. Possibly one of the best discoveries I've made. 4 or 5 blades. They're a bit less expensive than women's and made to leave the most stubbly skin smooth.

    2. I use shampoo as shave gel. Conditioner works too. Bodywash was too drying.

    3. I shave with the grain, but when I need to be super smooth I apply more shampoo and shave against the grain. (This is probably a big no-no to some, but it's worked for me)

    4. After, while still in the shower I use grape seed oil all over my body. Let it rinse off and pat dry.

    5. Once my skin has absorbed oil (doesn't take long) I use plain dove deoderant on bikini area. The deoderant creates a better barrier than baby powder and isn't as drying to the freshly shaved skin.

*I heard using diaper rash cream on ingrowns is very helpful. Espom salt helps too.
