You know, I don't/haven't so far..I've thought about it though. Also, they have those nail polish 'stickers'

I tried wearing the Kiss brand ones for a few days. They look great, but they were shit at staying on. Within 12 hours, 3 had popped off and that was just daily activities, not even the club. All weekend, I kept gluing them back on, filing/sanding my own nails down to make them stick better... nada.

They might be ok for camming if you're careful. I also don't know if maybe the glue that comes with them is just shitty and a different brand would make them stay.

They look great, but I hated it because they would still move around a little and water would condensate under it. Good for temporary, I wouldn't keep it on for any longer than 2 days.

They seem ok for camming though.

I've never had luck with them, they always manage to pop off them and I end up shedding press on nails everywhere. No bueno. Maybe I'm just getting a shitty kind though.

I love nailhur. Looks natural, clear ones easy to paint even with the most cheap nailpolish. They have many styles n colors. use coupon code and they will be cheaper. easy to remove.

Also when you apply a nailpolish on them, they dry in a second. They can hold for a week with no problem. Just dont wash dishes without gloves.
They come with a glue, and extra nails for different sizes. So if you lose 1 or 2 no prob always some etra which can be shaped for your nail

I never used fake nails until I saw some really good ones in the strip club. The ladies look so much better with nails done - fake or not.

So I tried fake nails and was impressed. The brand I used was called imPress by Broadway nails. They say they last up to a week but I always took mine off before then. It has some adhesive on the nail so no need for glue. And the adhesive is safe for nails so no damage afterward. They also have various lengths and nice designs.

I use $6 glue on nails. The trick is, DON'T use the glue that comes with it. Buy better glue. The crazy glue for nails kind or the kind at sally beauty. Mine stay on for well over a week, they don't chip or peel. I have only broke one in the last 6 years. If you want them to look new again after a week, put a clear coat on them. I can get about 9 -10 days out of mine if I don't put my hands in alot of water (that makes my real nails grow out faster and you see cuticle area quicker). There are a few brands I use, but the Kiss in the red box is my standard. If I knew how to post a damn pic here I would. But I have never ever had anyone ask if they were glue ons. Everyone assumes "I just had my nails done".

Yes I agree and kiss is awesome as far as the design lasting even when it wears off after a few weeks I can polish them and they look brand new again so my nails cost me like 8$ a month and everyone thinks there profesh!

I've used press on nails before and they've worked out great, I prefer them than using nails where you have to use glue, comes off way easier.

I use Kiss glue-on nails on a regular basis. I usually keep them on for 5-6 days and will have 2-3 pop off in that time, but I almost always hear them pop off, so I keep glue with me and just glue them back on. I'd prefer to just do Shellac at a salon, but being a mom, I can't get to the salon often, and this is cheaper.

I do if I have a reason to need to wear falsies. I loathe acrylics & gels because they only look good for like 2 days and then it's all downhill from there so why bother? Plus, I can't open anything, they break, and most guys I've met seem to hate them lol. So yes press on is the way to go IMO if you need faux nails.

When I was dancing, I used them. I effing loved them. AND I never used acetone to remove them.

    What I'd do...
-Cut my real nails very short (no whites)
-Tape the fake nails onto a piece of paper and paint them on there (so I could put the nails on right before my shift and didn't have to deal with getting the nail polish on my cuticles / fingers)
-Right before my shift, glue the nails on and cut them down to a shorter length
-Take glue to work in case any popped off during shift
-After shift, I used a tool to get under the edges of the nails and pop them off one by one
    -Saved nails for future shifts

That way I didn't have to keep the nails on when I wasn't working (I hate long nails), I could keep my own nails nice and short, my fake nails could be re-used for future shifts, I could paint them halfway through the week and not have to worry about chipping, and I didn't have to use any harsh solvents to remove them (only pop your nails off if your real nails are extremely short).

I only wear glue on nails. It's been one of my economizing things i've done oer the last 10 yrs or so. I just found my eyelashes and nails at the dollar tree and after doubling up the lashes to make them fuller & thicker , they look like Ardell The nails generally last me about a week before they pop off.

I would use them but its too tacky when one pops off. Now that I think about it, salon fake nails are equally tacky unless they look natural. I'm all for being a natural beauty.

I wonder if they damage your real nails? I have to keep mine unpolished for my day job but while I keep them neat and groomed I'd love to have long polished pretty ones for the one or two nights a week at club. I just don't want to destroy my nails because they're already naturally really nice.

^^^No they don't (depending on which kind of adhesive you use).

My natural nails are nice also and I was pleasantly surprised by the fake nails I used (imPress). The adhesive was good enough to hold the nails in place so they last several days - yet when time came to remove them, they came off easily without zero damage to my real nails.

Yeah, I used to be a "natural nazi" when it came to such things, until I realized no one was ever going to give me extra credit points for being au naturel. Some things are still worth it to me to keep natural, such as my hair (because with extensions, I wouldn't be able to fling my hair around constantly). But something like nails? Glue that shit on, man! Sign me up.
