Default Port blocking- relevant for camming?

    Hello,

I will have an option to get cable internet soon., which is the only one in my area who provides upload speed faster than 1. But I've heard that they block "privileged ports 1-1023". I've searched for this term online, but I still don't get exactly what it means, except that some sites don't work then. So is this relevant for camming? Can you visit cam sites and stream in that case? Which ports do we need open?

    Thank you!

The ports they block aren't likely to affect your ability to cam. My ISP does the same thing.
