Hello to all after lurking. I'm a camgirl on streamate for two years and for the most part it is fun. I started having days with little or no traffic for no reason. I troubleshooted and emailed tech support multiple times and they never gave any answers. my internet with asus computer is above requirement. My boyfriend noticed theres a number in the external link and it changes if we have to restart stream. Its the number right after fcs and just before -1 so the link looks like rtmp:/fcs72-1.website.com/. The number where 72 is changes each time.
Anyone here know what the numbers mean in the streamate external encoder links? Most important the number after fcs?
When I need to restart stream we get offered a different fcs number and the room is empty and other fcs numbers will have names on the board just coming in and out who might say hi. My traffic and customers mysteriously return when I get on a good fcs number again that day. I've been watching this for two months so not a coincidence. I make notes and I only make money on one number and not all of them, but that number changes daily and it's stressful!
I get the same type results with smbroadcaster except cant see the links [hidden]. I concluded that streamate is manipulating traffic somehow using these links. Is that possible? my customers tell me they cant stay connected and see blank screens and stuff when I am on those bad numbers and most stream issues I have are connected to this fcs number. How can this be fixed?
If any of you girls can provide an explanation to this fcs link number coincidence I would love to read the replies here. Thank you in advance.
