Default How to keep hair dry when dancing?

I tried searching for this, but I couldn't find an answer. So I go pretty hard on stage and usually the front part of my hair gets sweaty. I try not to use too much heat on my hair so usually I just dab off what I can with a paper towel and brush it into kind of a tousled, sex hair style. I've heard of girls just using a hair dryer, but is there any more convenient way to dry it?

cool dry with the hair dryer is usually enough, it gets frizzy but thats the easiest

It may sound crazy..what about dabbing a natural deodorant around the area? I've never tried it myself, so Idk. I use that LaVanilla, it has a very light fragrance.

A dry shampoo the kind they sell at Sephora or Walgreens would help with that and freshen up your hair at the same time.

Maybe get a small handheld fan that fits in your purse.

This stuff is the shit. You can get it to match your hair colour and in small airplane sizes that would fit in your work purse.

Yes, Batiste all the way! It really works even for thick hair. It's good for gym use, too!

Great suggestions here re: dry shampoo and natural deodorant.

Another thing I do often is use hairspray on the underside of my hair if that makes sense? I find most of the sweat problems are from the back of my neck causing things to curl, so I'll spray a lot there and usually don't have to fix my hair after. Since it's under my other hair it doesn't look like I'm wearing a ton of hairspray either.

Embrace the sex-hair look. I have always had this issue. Try to work with it rather than against it by working with a non-straight hairstyle.

I'm less about stage shows and prefer to make my money in private. So if I get off stage and have sweat a lot, I make a mental note to move more slowly on my next stage. Then I touch up my hair with a blowdryer and straightener and go back onto the floor. If it's a particularly warm night, I might even request to be taken off of the stage rotation completely, since I'd rather spend my time doing dances.

i like to use a tad bit of baby power. smells nice and dries/gets the oil out. just be careful not to use too much and end up looking like a founding father. i'm blonde so that probably makes a difference. tbh, it's probably better to just dab with a paper towel like you do. guys don't notice or care unless you're really dripping sweat
