Default Are there any webcams that look good in the default settings?

Hello. I am just wondering if there is a webcam that looks close to flawless while auto adjusting on its own, or while not having to adjust it at all.

I am thinking about webcamming again. The webcam I used before was c920. I know it gets some rave reviews, but I just did not like it at all. I always looked washed out and the quality bad no matter what.

The lighting in my cam room is always the exact same. I use blackout curtains because I used to sleep during the day. My lights are always in the same spot etc, but somehow my webcam feed would not look the same. When I would go to save current settings and login the next time, it seemed that the save just did not stick. I am not sure if it is my computer or what.

I would spend at least half an hour on my hair and makeup, then at least 45 adjusting my webcam settings since it is such a pain. I want to save as much time as possible.

I prefer a webcam with a remote this time, but even if there is not one like that with good quality, can someone recommend a good webcam with a remote or otherwise?

    Thanks.

Adjust your camera first and then apply your makeup. Use your computer like a mirror. Thats what i do. My camgirl makeup is a hot mess when I step out into the daylight. I don't blend anything. I just slap it on and it looks amazing when I'm streaming.

Take a photo of your settings so the next time you log on you have something to reference. That should save you time adjusting it.

    Hi,
A lot of the logitech ones don't save the settings once you've exited. I had a look on the logitech forums a while ago as it was driving me mad, and they said it's because light conditions differ each time. Only, they don't - in your situation and for anyone who cams after dark with the same lights, etc.

The right light setting on mine looks like total shit to be honest. I prefer manually adjusting it but it takes a while like you're having happen too.

I don't like the c920 that much. I look extremely pale on it (similar issue?).

What PhatGirlDynomite says is good advice. Take a pic of it (or draw a little diagram) of what it looks like. Maybe that's a good starting point.

I do look extremely pale and washed out on it so I have to apply extra coats of self-tanner, which look crazy off of cam lol.

The popular webcams with remotes are bcc950 and Ptz Pro Camera. But since they're both from Logitech you'll most likely run into the same issue because the issue is with the software. I haven't used these cams but there's a brand called Huddlecam and they have a bunch of pan/tilt/zoom cams with remotes, here's a link to their cams. I dunna how their software works but its says theirs 64 presets available which will allow you to save settings and positions.

Some other options are using a surveillance camera or video camera, which you'll need a video capture card or magewell dongle. Like the Huddlecam camera's surveillance cameras give you the ability of remote ptz and presets. I'm not sure if any ladies still use the Sony EVI-100 or how well the output size works with the newer broadcasting settings but it use to be mentioned on here all the time.
