    Default Stretching exercises and growth

    I've been doing pilates and stretching 2 times a day for about 5 months now. I just got my height taken at the doctor and I grew an 1.25 inches. Is this related to the stretching exercises I've been doing? I don't think it was a mistake because I had them measure me twice (without shoes) just to make sure. I didn't know this could happen and I'm too old to be growing.

    Idk, but I doyoga myself..
    I've heard as wm age , they lose height due tp bone loss

    Stretching can definitely help you gain some height with postural improvements- it can't actually make you grow taller but it stops you from doing a lot of the unconscious (and unnoticeable) "hunching" etc that happens with tight muscles and poor posture.

    This. It just helps improve your posture, so that you are standing to your full height. So that could easily add an inch or a little more to what your height looked like before.

    very possible, you did not grow but probably space between vertebrates released. very good results!
    try ballet classes, so improving pasture
