Search Newbie with a whole lot of questions

    Hey everyone!
Alright, I really am going to sound like a total newbie, so please bear with me here. I've been looking into dancing for a long time. I'll be going to college soon and I already know the whole financial struggle thing all too well. Stripping looks like the thing for me.
That being said, I have a ton of questions I can't seem to find on the Internet. So I guess, here they are!

    1) What the heck are you supposed to do at the end of a lap dance? I imagine it being kind of awkward - the song ends, and then what? I guess this is kind of a dorky question, haha, but it's one that's been on my mind that I can't find the answer to.

    2) How old do you have to be to strip in Washington state? I'm 18-years-old but I've heard some states won't let you strip if you're not 21 or older. Also, do you need any permits to dance at a club?

    3) I've been looking at Kitten's Cabaret in Seattle and am curious about the house fees and what it's like working there in general. I would also really appreciate any general information on the other clubs in/near Seattle, or if you'd suggest one. I couldn't find much info on any in the review section.

    4) Any other tips would be awesome. Just throw em at me!

Well, I think that's about it for now. I like to be thorough, so I'll undoubtedly have more questions. Thank you in advance!

I stripped my way through college. It feels good to be independent and not have student loans!

    1) ask if they want another! I like to smile and say something like, "did you have fun?" or "can we keep having fun?" You want the upsell, so don't be willing to walk away and leave money on the table. Get everything you can before moving to the next customer.

    3) The best way to get that info is to ask the club. Call and find out when they do auditions, and ask those questions when you meet the manager.

    4) When you buy your first few outfits and shoes, think simple. There are all kinds of flashy designs out there, but I find that I wear 20% of my outfits 80% of the time. Plain black thongs, plain black shoes, and invest in a simple black lace bra/panty type set from Victoria's secret. Wear a bodyzone thong under the Victoria's Secret underwear, so you can take off another layer and also because those things are indestructible and will protect your cookie! Get flashy stuff later, when you have a better idea of what cuts work on your body and what works in your club/location. It's easy to blow hundreds on this stuff when you first start.

    ^^ great advice.

My style changed drastically from when I first started dancing to a couple of weeks in. So yeah, start simple and then go from there. Clear shoes go with everything and a simple lingerie set can be found for pretty cheap. Don't blow money on expensive stuff just yet. See if you're any good at stripping first.

I usually say something like " awww .. Our times up. Lets keep having more fun!" or " I had some much fun playing with you .. I want to keep playing". If they seem really into it, I just simply whisper "one more?" in a sexy voice and keep dancing. You'll usually be able to tell if they need to be persuaded for more or not. But always try to up sell them for a couple of more songs. If you work in a club that has rooms which are sold in chunks of time, 15 min-30 min-1 hour, this is your opportunity to take him there. Towards the end of your first song, take things up a notch in terms of sexiness and then make the sales pitch.

After you've gotten as many dances as you can out of them and you're paid, I usually excuse myself by thanking them for the dances/fun/experience. I usually do it in a flirty/suggestive way, sometimes paired with contact, like cupping or brushing their face as I stand up. Right before I leave, I usually say something to the effect of hope I see you again sometime/come back again and see me/see you later. Again, all flirty and suggestive. Then I walk back to the dressing room (it's right next to the lap dance area in my club) and get dressed. By time I shimmy back into my outfit, they're usually gone, but if not, I'll waggle my fingers and smile at them as I walk by. If that's it, that's it, but by keeping the entire encounter from start to finish flirty and sexy, you create a good impression and up your odds of him coming back up to you later and getting more dances.

I'll just answer your questions about Washington state. 18 and up is the law here, there is no alcohol served in clubs so unless you plan on travelling to other states that's not an issue. Yes you need a license. To work in King County you go to the business licensing office and apply for an Adult Entertainment License as well as a business license (costs around $120), then you go across the street to get fingerprinted ($40). You can do this all in one day and be ready to work that night. Make copies of everything because the club will need to keep your license on file. I've never worked at Kittens but I've heard its slow, and the pictures of the inside confuse me it looks like a bingo hall. Any of the Deja Vus (I've only worked at the Lake Forrest Park one) is generally a good indicator if you will like dancing because they are well known and have lots of girls you can watch and learn off of, HOWEVER with the Deja Vus the girls can go into debt with backhouse if they don't make enough. You also have to sell a certain amount of "ladies drinks" a night (half goes to you and half goes to house I believe). But they have specials like 2 for 1 dances that make it easier to get some dances in. I've worked at Sands, which is smaller, management can be assholes if you aren't blonde with fake tits and stick skinny. If you have the Barbie look go there you will make bank. Centerfolds up the road from Sands is bullshit absolutely do not waste your time. 2 girls working when I was there and 10 customers tops a night. Plus the area is super run down. Any club in the stadium district I would assume you could make good money at right now considering the crowds after Mariners games and Seahawks games when the season comes up. House for night shift is usually $90-$120 and if it's a club with any business you will be expected to tip out Djs and security. Hope that helps.

Another newbie tip... ask the manager or the doorman questions. Don't ask the girls. There are bitches in this biz and if they feel threatened by you, they will intentionally misinform you.
