At work, I wear conservative business clothes; gym clothes only when working out; casual clothing the rest of the time; however, now I am noticing that with exception of when working out; I've only have worn skirts or dresses for the last 10 years or more.

Leggings with vest and cardigans, or now it's hot shorts in soft material i.e. Really cas with vests and sneakers or flip flops , I wear foundation and mascara at my job, but never otherwise unless we go out.

I used to dress to impress when I was looking to date men. Now that I am dating someone who mutually loves me with no-make-up and takes care of me, there is no need to get dressed up and draw more attention to me, with creeps.

I hate people, men particularly, staring at me anyway. Gross-- I feel like they owe me something, like money. Females sizing you up, is annoying, too. Like stop fucking staring at me.

I like to wear sneakers or boots and pants on the way to dance. And stilettos and pants, covering my body to civilian work.

I dress like a hobo. I wear my clothes out until they're literally falling apart. Also, I get attached to certain articles of clothing, such that I wear it every single day, like if it's a sweatshirt that a friend gave me, or a sweater that feels really nice. When I was a teenager I always wanted to wear makeup to look pretty because I was so awkward, unpopular, and painfully shy, but now, I seem to believe that makeup will wreck my skin if I wear it too much especially as I'm getting older and beginning to have issues with skin. So I don't wear makeup. Actually, dressing better is something I need to work on. Maybe.

I like to wear my old vanilla job clothes when I'm out grocery shopping or running errands. That's an old Carhartt jacket, hoodie, jeans, work boots, a knit beanie, no makeup. I like to go for the plain Jane look to avoid being bothered. Sometimes it doesn't work but most of the time it does. Summertime is a whole 'nother ballgame. I like to wear sundresses then.

Let's just pretend my laziness is on purpose and call it "90s Americana grunge"
Walmart chic. Goodwill and Salvation Army fills my closet.

Im not really glamorous or anything I wear a lot of sneakers, shorts, tank tops, crop tops, sweatsuits, etc. but I always make sure my clothes fit well and look cute and I put lots of effort into my makeup and hair but I like to go for a more natural look with my makeup.

Now that I'm old (lol) I seek out a lot of retro 1980s looking clothing (not the bad stuff, the classic stuff). Older women love it & it brings me back to awesome memories, like being around older people as a kid & being excited about life.

When I sit my azz down & learn how to run a sewing machine I'm going to make clothing just to see if I can do it. In the 1950-70s it was common for home makers to just make clothes at home to save money.

Related to fashion and dress- apparently the Ralph Lauren designed leather gloves worn by the US Olympians in S. Korea are a huge sales hit, despite the $1,000 price tag.

Those would be easy to duplicate with some leather fringe & some leatherworking tools.

    Some of that.

Just don't usually like being bothered either. Unless there's something offered, maybe.

I wear whatever the hell I want, with my tunnel vision, or a resting bitch face.

And sometimes I pull out my pricey items from the closet because I like the design or need to impress others in a setting. Like when I rather not be treated badly or ignored by a person that needs to recognize I fit into an expensive environment by what I am wearing.

I like to fit in most of the time. I don't like TOO BLINGY, that draws a lot of attention to me outside of work. I'm afraid of being a target to thieves and malice behavior too, if I wear something TOO BLINGY, or screaming I'M EXPENSIVE, come try to take me or you can pawn me for A LOT of money.

You know, wealthy women in the older times would wear fake designer/s to avoid their authentic pieces being stolen by thieves while exposed to others?

In all honesty I go to the gym after work so I wear my gym clothes. I'm going to take them off and nobody is going to see me in them except my co-workers.
If I'm not at the gym I do have a tendency to dress immodestly. With my current political aspirations I might have to invest in a new wardrobe.

I was taking a nap the other day and my alarm to get my daughters from school went off. I threw on my high-waisted leather mini skirt and a “heavy metal” crop top. Grabbed my suede ankle boots, glasses, lip balm and then dipped. Somewhere in the middle of me rushing to take my hair out of a bun is when I realized that this is how I dress. Like I’m always going to run into a past fuck buddy - or the girl he was cheating on.

I usually wear shit like jeans with cut-outs under the butt and a simple T-shirt/heels. or a mini dress with chucks, hair down. Or a grey little clingy thing, hair up. Something that’s always comfortable but looks like effort was put into it that really wasn’t.

I’d have to have no access to a washer/dryer and zero dollars to my name to wear house clothes outside.
