Dizzy Review of Back Channel Media?

Ok so I am sort of in a bind right now as far as camming goes. My housing situation makes it difficult to cam when I want to and then I have to put my area together and dismantle it every night which is a complete waste of time especially when I'm exhausted after a long shift. Back Channel Media is a studio for cam models. Now I know, I know, studios are the bad, evil things that go bump in the night...I'm not exactly thrilled about this prospect but I need a place to cam until I get on my feet and am able to get my own apartment. So if anybody has any reviews of this place I would love to hear them...I searched Stripperweb, I searched Google, hell I even googled Stripperweb trying to find something haha so I would really love to know if they are good people to work for. Also, what sort of questions should I be asking a studio so I don't get screwed over?

*Edit* I forgot to add I am interested in them because their studio is close to where I live and I can cam at the studio which would be really beneficial for me!

I really wanted my first post on this site to be a sweet introduction and have some kind words to say. My very first post. And then I saw this. So now I have to look like a new complaining witch. Oh joy.

I have worked with these people. And I will sing this from mountain tops: NEVER EVER SIGN UP FOR THIS STUDIO. EVER.

I was conned into this by a friend that I knew in a community that mostly focuses on men and their dating lives. I really thought that this person was doing me a huge favor because of the way they supported my work and private practice in helping men out with their issues (real life job). When they brought this company up to me (since they work with the owner), I thought I was going in a great direction. I signed up, gave my info in, and heard from someone two hours later. They got my account ready and I started making some money.

Then shit (excuse my language) hit the fan. The following events have happened to me and I am going to list them to prevent myself from rambling on in multiple paragraphs:

    1. I was never shown the contract or even given a contract to sign for tax purposes UNTIL after I started working. I had no idea what payout was or anything. They told me to "start working and worry about it later". NO. They didn't tell me that they would leave me with 40% of my income- my supposed friend actually conned me by showing me an OUTDATED CONTRACT that said I would earn a higher percentage when I demanded to see what I was signing up for. Awesome! So I thought I was making money and didn't find out shit until after I signed the contract and they transferred the money, which was VERY LOW compared to the hours that I was working.

    2. They promised to help promote on Twitter and Insta and all that fun stuff. They POORLY time the posts. I mean, I put down that I was camming from 8-12am and let them know hours before and they LITERALLY reposted (after I contacted my 'friend' who logs into the twitter and social media feed) 12 hours after, when my shift was over and wasn't even camming for the day. So, you won't get any real promotion. Sorry to say.

    3. Anytime I needed help with something and called the studio or someone to help out- with website issues, with rates issues (for a while I was being encouraged by a representative to go at 6 tokens per minute for a private show- WTF). I NEVER got a call back. Some of things related involved- someone who was threatening to record my private show, not knowing what I should buy and assistance in how to get more tokens, not knowing proper payout (the website and what studios do is different), asking for critiques, tips to earn more money. i got jack squat for an answer. Oh, except for the model representative who is "always on vacation". Cool.

    4. Talked to another model and we both agree that they shortened our payments, sometimes we would only receive 35% of our earnings rather than 40%. Really sketchy that nobody knows how to add, right?

    5. Cashing out tokens? Don't worry- if you need that weekly pay on time, you will get it delayed! And their excuse? "Oh, it's a family emergency which is why I took time off during fourth of July weekend to take all of your tokens but not pay you till a few weeks later when I got back to the office at my own convenience." This happened TWICE. A family emergency that delayed payments- right before Mother's Day and Fourth of July. Give me a freakin break! At least make sure your employees are paid before you try any of that crap. Because frankly, no employee would accept an excuse from their employer that the reason they weren't paid is because "they had a sick family member and had to leave to catch the next flight for their family vacation-oops, I mean emergency."

    6. The main boss who was supposed to send me a gift card for my "hard work of reaching 20 hours" (it was 80 hours but OK) and they messed that one up to. When he attempted to send it the first time, he not only spelled my entire name wrong (which was on the id and contract that I had signed in the first place) but also that the address was off as well! It was correct on EVERY form that I've sent to them. So it ended up getting lost and they said that they would send another one. Still waiting for it... it's been a month! I called it quits and today I locked them out of my account. Much better for my funds this way!

My advice? Make a new account on your cam site and don't ever EVER work for these people. I don't care if they own a studio- it's even worse over there and I have heard from other girls who used to cam from them that half of the people there are unorganized, quitting, or are taking frequent vacations. Nothing is done there. Sign up individually or find another studio. You will feel so much better about life.
