Default Transporting money home after work.

    Hello Ladies,

I was curios to know what are some ways that you transport your cash when you get off from work late at night. For example would you leave your cash in the trunk of the car if you lived in a complex until the next morning or would you take it with you to your apartment. I will be living in a complex and was wondering is it safer to leave your money in the truck until morning that way you wont be walking around late at night to your place with risk of getting jacked.

Whatever you deem the safest, do that. Each response may vary depending on the situation. But please know this is a public forum. The last thing we want is a ton of lurkers knowing how sex workers protect their money. Just use common sense and caution you will be fine.

Have a bouncer walk you to your car or cab, spend as little time outside of the club as possible after your shift is over. If you can, be sure to hire a driver who is trustworthy (friends or family trump random cab drivers) or better yet, drive yourself. There are a billion other precautions you can take and I'm sure you can look up online several clever and unconventional ways of transporting cash safely with you. Just be smart and don't fuck around after you leave the club.

When you get home, same thing. Be aware of your surroundings and be sure to know whose been driving behind you and who is out walking around. If you have to walk a bit to get inside, ask someone at home to walk with you, if possible. Leaving items in your car is not really a good idea, imo. A car getting broken into is far more likely then someone assaulting you or breaking into your house. Lock the door when you get inside. Just common sense stuff.

...oh and pepper spray, of course.

I drive myself and also live in an apartment complex. A bouncer or DJ always escorts me to my car. If I have a decent amount of cash, say $500 or more it goes in a leg garter underneath the pants I wore in (obviously only works if you're wearing pants). Otherwise I just throw it in one of my purses zippered pockets. When you're pulling into your place look around for anyone loitering. Don't linger in your car, walk confidently straight to your door. I don't live in the greatest area but have never had any issues. Personally, I leave absolutely nothing in any part of my car. Car break ins are fairly common just about everywhere. Every time I've had a car broke into they rummaged through my trunk.
