Default quick fix to look 'fresh'/more youthful

I have been a little stressed and working a lot, all that drinking and little sleep is catching up and I'm looking a little 'worn out' and older than I'd like to look.

Some quick fixes to get you looking fresh besides botox and fillers?

I'm thinking maybe some microdermabrasion facials or something in that direction?

It's mainly deep bags and my skin is just dull and 'pimpely'. Honestly I think the clarisonic might be contributing. For some reason that thing just doesn't do it for me..

The clarisonic didn't agree with me either. Try a deep pore facial and lay off the hard living for a while.

Clarisonics are known to cause people to overexfoliate, but more importantly they harbor tons of bacteria. I much prefer chemical exfoliants, a washcloth that I can switch out daily, and a sugar scrub every once in a while.

Working out and drinking lots of water, moisturizing the hell out of my skin, and applying light makeup do great things for looking more "fresh," imo.

Using a good primer under foundation makes the skin glow and be smoother. Make yourself a healthy smoothie. I use spinach, fruit, almonds and almond milk. Helps to give you more energy too.

Facial massage with a light oil or something that won't clog pores yet lubricates skin because massaging the facial skin stimulates blood cells stimulating natural collagen to help with that young fresh look.

Cold compress on eyes with some eyelash curling because firm open eyes look youthful.

And scrub dead skin cells at least twice a week with a gentle exfoliating mask.

Oh and for moisturizers look for things with humectants, such as hyaluronic acid; they attract moisture to the surface of the skin, making your skin look plumped up.

Slather a bag of rosehip tea on your face, after you're done drinking it. Drinking it helps maintain the skin youthful.

Ok first off, take a break from alcohol. Drink lemon water instead. The vitamin c will make your skin glow and give you energy. Get a good night's sleep and work out after you get some rest. A microdermabrasion is great, will freshen up your skin. I'm 42 and people think I'm 10-15 years younger than my age.

Online, but I'm sure you can buy it at a health food store.

Light chemical peels are great for this! I love glycolic acid, it's really effective at brightening and improving skin texture. Also vitamin C serums. And take some vitamin B, sublingual is great. Alcohol depletes your B vitamins and they're great for helping your system recover from drinking.

Microdermabrasion works wonders I've heard...but personally for me I just eat tons of fruit and veggies, drink a ton of water and exercise for the time after I've had a rough week or so...very soon things begin to correct themselves.

I've been getting chemical peels for the last couple of months.. totally worth it. My skin used to be dry and acne prone with rosacea but now it's dewy (for once!) and no acne. The scars are healing too, no need for foundation.

It's expensive ($70/month) but it's worth the convenience and proven results.

There is no "quick fix" unless it's slathering in under eye concealer and foundation..just lke there's no quick fix for health or weight loss it's a lifestyle change.
Lay off the alcohol and smoking if you do, and it's important you get at least eight hours lke make that your priority. Eat fresh and healthy and drink tons of water. Eat super foods lke avocados, hemp seeds, turmeric, pomegranates, kale, etc and slather on moisturizer and sunscreen like your life depends on it.
I think if anything plastic surgery ages a person even more

Makeup artists choice offers medical grade peels for great prices. They offer sample sizes that are more than enough to last a long time, and they have really quick shipping. I've used their products for years and they are awesome and have great customer service if you have any questions. I do recommend going to a professional if you want a heavy duty peel like tca, preferably a licensed clinical aesthetician. A lot of them work under plastic surgeons. I wouldn't trust a spa. Tca shouldn't cost more than $300 but don't expect to leave your house for a while, LOL. I looked like holy hell for about a week!

Temporarily ditch the alcohol, red wine is ok. Drink several glasses of water a day, a gallon in 24 hours is recommended and after two weeks of this your skin will glow and regain its youthful suppleness.

Water. Water. water. Sleep. Sleep. Sleep.

Anytime I feel like I am not taking the best care of myself, or I feel like I need to repair some damage I've done to myself by maybe over doing it. ( what ever it is, over working, drinking, always stressing, ect.) I drink as much water as I can, I wear no make up, I stay fresh and clean, and I rest. Your body repairs it's self while you sleep.

Foods with tons of vitamin A and Vitamin C will create the biggest changes! Just a cup of coconut water has 100% DV of vitamin C, while a single sweet potato has like 200% DV of vitamin A. Spinach also has a high content of vitamin A. Coconut water is actually great for potassium too. Vita coconut water has 13% of the potassium DV at 45 calories per 8 oz, which is the amount in a banana with half the calories!

I'd recommend chemical peels, particularly the Vi-Peel if your skin is more sensitive because it is painless.

Using retinol every night along with a vitamin C serum will increase your cell turnover.

Also watch out for your dairy intake and processed/simple sugar intake.

^ watching out for these things has really helped me.

Make sure your makeup foundation and concealer is non-comedogenic.

If you want to go the extra mile and make your whole body glow even further order some dead sea mud online and put it all over your body and leave it for 20 minutes! It's a messy process but it's amazing for the skin. It's way overpriced in spas, so if you try this suggestion make sure to buy it and DIY!

What all the ladies said above!
I stopped drinking and smoking and it's been 6 months my skin looks MUCH better... Partying hard tends to wear you out faster... I'm 25 and my fiancé swears I was looking years older than what I am and I look like I'm 18 now. Lol. Over exaggeration I think but def lay off alcohol to stay looking young it ages you horribly.
