Default Po po can seize money on a card??

So I was recently told that in Oklahoma cops can take money that is on a debit card. I was just wondering if this is true or can happen in other states? I mean wtf

The government can seize any money in the bank or found from illegal activity

Well if the money on the debit card was obtained through illegal methods I assume it could be taken away. I believe they have to have reason and search warrant before searching and seizing your assets. Idk though maybe ask a good lawyer.

In some states they can seize money (no matter where it is, cash, debit card, banks), cars, houses, freeze bank accounts if the money came from illegal activities. (I'm not positive but I think that's actually all states).

I guess what I should've asked is...is this standard procedure in prostitution cases? I got attested once but they only took my cash and never mentioned anything besides the cash. I knew they'd seize bank accounts and afssets in drug dealing cases but I'm wondering if this is common in a prostitution case?

Honesty, as was mentioned , u shld ask an attorney. Also the laws do vary in diff states.
I know I read on here recently about beong careful w cash (travel dancing or re dancing) I think cops can & do do whatever they want..
I knew of a guy that worked for himself, did some remodeling, got pd cash, got pulled over for a traffic stop, & got relieved od his $ by thecop

If you're profiting from something deemed illegal in your area, you leave a paper trail of said profiting (via bank deposits), then I would believe that's up for forfeiture - especially if you owe money / legal debts.

If you can consult with a lawyer familiar with adult business laws there. So you don't get taken advantage of in the legal system because they know sexworkers won't report law enforcements wrongdoings out of fear.

I've heard of girls that haven't paid their taxes and then bought a boat or a car then had them seized. The pre-paid debit card companies can also freeze the money on your cards or the IRS freeze your bank account if the transactions are suspicious. I would say your best bet is to use gift cards and cash when you can and file some sort of taxes. There is a CPA that specializes in companion returns.
